I do not think this is something we should be pondering at this time. Do you?

NO ! Out of the respect of the airline employees and their families, I suggest this poll of extremely poor taste be removed!
Do we think before we type?

Now is not the time to be talking about this. Maybe we should have a poll on what terrorist harboring country is going to fall first!

Angry This is a bad thought!

Any of these fall will be a big hit to the economy. The layoffs are bad enough!

I did not find your question offensive, and since these airlines directly affect my relatives and friends, I wondered the same thing.

In fact, since U S Airways is virtually the only airline that now flies into Scranton, PA, its demise would greatly impact that area, and I know many who use their airport.

Posting the question here, where there is at least a degree of aeronautical expertise, was not at all frivolous.

Cheers,

GK

I any of the heavies fail it will be because the fat guy's at the top were unwilling to make deep sacrifices for the long term and decide to cut their losses and run.
These pillars of this industry are not as shakey as they claim.

I'm not offended. It's a valid question. My hope is that with the demise of the industry most will be able to stay afloat. After all, these people are lossing their jobs.
