Will the air bridges come with stickers etc for airline logos? (and will they be logos for say 80's/90's stuff too---the last batch only worked for the most modern of setups)

Might want to ask Gemini directly about the stickers because the info I got did not say anything except the stock # and price.

Some interesting subjects, but jeez, definitely nothing for me this month. I guess that's a good thing since it's Christmas time and the little money I have will be going towards presents for others.

Looks like those jet bridges are slightly different than the original narrowbody ones. The top three in the package utilize the short jet bridge casing. Can't tell if the inner casing is the longer version or the shorter version just pulled out a little. I definitely see stickers in there, and like David, I would love to see a sheet for '80s and '90s stuff.

At least the retro Continental 1/400 737 for me, I wish that Copa was 1/400. I wonder why they released Freedom of Space, I have the PHX version its great. I think there is also a Dragon version as well?

Well well well Gemini, it would appear that your lack of a uk aircraft has been saved by some other aircraft, for me the Iberia, Garuda, Qatar and that very nice surprise of a Malaysia special scheme.1/200 seems to be getting treat well as of late, why can't that UA n/c 763 have been released in 1/400. Also I thought we where to see a n/c air France this month?
Edit: we still need a UK current livery aircraft soon please

Rod, there is a group of so-called 'collectors' that come here to whine more than they collect. Sad, but true.

Ditto to Nick, 99% of the biggest whiners are the ones that buy maybe 3 models a year, just ignore them. There's already models on that list headed to sellout status.

The airbridges are just a new supply of the #1 set that has been on backorder right?

I need another set for my diorama.

I like the Transcaribbean 721, i have the dc-8 and although not popular with most, it is a beautiful livery.

I too don't get what everyone is whining over. I would have thought that the EK A380 was more or less to fulfill a Corporate order with Emirates (or to add more, since I would guess it was a hot seller.) I don't see much else in the 400 scale that has been re-released, so everyone's anger over this leaves me a bit confused. Besides, it's under a different reg, so if wanted, it's another one you can add to the fleet!

This, and the November Aeroclassics has made this a very good month for me as far as models that I hope to buy! That Trans Caribbean 727-100 looks like it will fit nicely next to my DC-8. And the Qatar, Mohawk and Qantas would definitely be something I would consider as well. The best I can say is thanks GJ, some pretty good diversity in this batch.

Oh boy, looks like a good month for me hobby wise.

Ah! The Air Nostrum CRJ makes my day!!! GJ has a brilliant mould there and this livery is an excellent choice!
I'll also get the Garuda A330-200, what a great release! Well done Gemini!

I don't think anyone can dispute these releases are not the usual suspects we see on a regular basis. My comment is whether there was really any demand for some of these recent releases (e.g. Transcaribb 727, 777 Freedom of Space that has been released by another maker, Spirit A319) that are taking up factory production space when collectors have been clamoring for certain items.

Not my cup of tea but there is a good variety for a wide swath of the collectorate. Wonder what happened to the "new wingletted lady" that was possibly coming out a couple of releases ago?

I had bought a set of the N.B. bridges about 8 months ago, dont remember from who though, and they did have the decals and 3 short + 3 longer length bridges. From the photos i have seen, i believe these to be the same set. I even cut off the 3 longer ones because they were too long for a retro diorama. Still even though they are listed as narrowbody, they sit too high. When you place them against the fuselage of a NB the adjustable hydraulic posts need to be at their lowest and then the staircase wont sit at the proper angle. No biggie, but im wondering if Herpa 1/500 would be more suitable for 1/400 narrowbodies, maybe Dylan can advise on this one

Now that we've seen Air Nostrum - Is there a chance for an Air Nostrum CRJ-1000? The airline ordered 35 CRJ-1000 and will be the launch carrier...

That's perhaps a little harsh Nick , especially when there's always been a loyal hardcore of collectors who are getting bored of seeing re-release after re-release from a company who once had the balls to proclaim to be 'made by collectors, for collectors'. Why, why, why do we need yet another f-ckin Emirates A380 when there is and has always been so many more requests for other more interesting stuff on already available moulds ?

If there is a sudden and massive decline in the 1:400 hobby within 2010, I won't be surprised !

When do we expect these models in store? I need to know how long I can save before they hit the shelves.

It doesn't matter when they get here. They are up for pre-order now. If you want to ensure that you will get one (I assume the QF), you need to place your pre-order without delay.

Well, there is another Emirates A-380 coming out as the first one sold out, we have high demand for the product, and, Emirates requested a second
one be made. As this is a different registration, its not the same re-release
after all.

None for me this month. Hopefully Gemini will release a Frontier Dash 8 Q400, or a Midwest 717 sometime soon.

I think this has been discussed time after time. GJ and most other manufacturers are for-profit businesses who make more money the more releases they sell. Obviously, there is a large demand for an EK A380 as a lot of people who've travelled on it would want one as a memento.

There is another manufacturer that basically shifts the risk of unpopular releases to their dealer network. That manufacturer can afford to release more niche models without risking their bottom line.

I beg to differ with the majority - how can you say the Air Nostrum is not an interesting release?

I'll be taking that, the Emirates, the Malaysian, the Garuda, the Continental and probably the Qatar as well.

Oh and Trans-Caribbean 727? CALLED IT!

Go to W900 and whine there, I'm sure they welcome your comment.

Anyway, lets see...I like the UA, Mohawk, Qantas, CO RetroJet, Garada, Transcaribbean, along with AC's SWA and UPS 727s....dammit

Wait a minute, Rod...

I thought your hint said all continents (excluding Antarctica) would be represented?.

So, where is Africa? Certainly you and the fine folks at Gemini aren't lumping Africa in with the Middle East - those are distinct regions, not to mention continents!

Nice set of releases. Unfortunately for me, nothing that fits my collecting criteria. That's the first time I've been able to say that in two years, so my wallet is taking a much deserved break this month.

The 1/200 ERJ is just slightly tempting!

The only models that differ here are the Iberia, Garuda and Qatar, other airlines tend to appear very often on the releases.

Hmm...really? Let's see how about Malaysia (only 9 GJ models of this airline). TransCarribean (only 2). Mohawk (none until now). So add those three to your list. Then you could go as far as saying the Continental and Qantas are retro and we don't see many of those retro airliners from GJ!
