Default Peter Max

My Peter Max model arrived today from ARD, and I'm impressed. There are one or two things I hadn't realised about it though. Firstly, the tail is separate and you have to sit it on the model (why I don't know unless you wanted to display the livery only). Secondly, and this is a nice touch, the main gear sits forwards as if it's landing and the sits normally again when it's, on a flat surface.

Anyone else got this model yet??

Made by Phoenix?

If so, I am not surprised if the 'tail' was 'separate/came off' when you received it.

My CX B773/ER & TAAG B772/ER had their 'tail' came off during shipping, I believe.

Maybe glue issue? Maybe rough handling on the package? Who knows. I believe most manufacturer has this issue at one stage.

So, any pictures of the Peter Max? I look forward to receiving mine. An upgrade (mold wise) from my old DW version.

Cheers,

It slots in and looks just fine (in fact you wouldn't know unless you probably tipped it upside down) and there was no sign of any glue, so I assumed it was, for some odd reason, deliberate.

Pictures, I'll get some tomorrow, I got it this morning, I have been at work all day, and now I'm fried. no, seriously, I really do need to get pictures of my collection anyway (once I've reinstalled the relevant programmes (the thing just went gah gah on me a while ago and I've never gotten round to sorting it).
I'm onto it though!

Anyway, it looks good to me, but what I know about the plane in question you could write on a postage stamp.

Oh I don't know what you mean!!??

Actually, I took pictures of mine, but the light was so rubbish it was transfered to the pictures, and so, they can be described in 3 words; they are Pish!!

On another note, now I've got this damn thing working again, there should be quite a few pictures from me within the next few days, including some I've been threatening to foist on you all for what seems like years!!

My collection will FINALLY be seen and you'll see I haven't just been lying all this time!!
