HP o/c 752? OMG. Now give us a 733!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh c'mon, a *wingletted* Deltaflot 757? Deltaflot should be winglet-*less*! (annoyed since I just flew on one, only my 2nd 757 ever, and I'd love a 1/200 model---but not with winglets---I didn't even see any wingletted Deltaflot 57s, and I spent quite a few hours at ATL and MCO) AFAIK for 95% of that plane/paint combination's existence, none had winglets. Normal versions that look like most of the fleet did please, not uncommon recent variations! (same issue as making hushed 727s that only represent their last year of service, instead of how they looked for the years and years prior to that)

Interesting. The 1/200 AA MD-80 has the same reg number and totally wrong wing paint as the JX sample/artwork...

The BCal BAC One Eleven 500 will be mine, but since I've just made my order for this month I'll wait till next month.

Agreed. I flew on a HP o/c B733 PHX-PVR in 2000 so would love to see one by GJ.

Huh. That 717 has the most accurate pylon paint of any diecast model of the DC-9 family ever. (wonder if they recall how much I commented about DW's version...) Still not very fond of GJ's mold though.

Only the Hawaiian for me, thankfully, need to slow down.

I would like Phoenix to release a standard livery 777 to go with all the special colours they have produced the last few months

Very disappointing releases from my point of view. Well, it just means I can continue back buying models. WHERE ARE THE UNITED A319/320's in the new livery!?

Finally an America West 75 Old School. I was weeks away from getting this custom done. Sweet. Now we need the old 737-300 and bus. Just got a Reno Air MD-90 custom, now we need someone to get a MD-87 mold and actually put out some planes unlike DW.

The DHL gives people like me the opportunity to trade in the somewhat sub-par Herpa 752 in the same livery.

Or in the old livery, for that matter.

As far as the MD-82 goes... WRONG SCALE!!! Jet-X is releasing the exact same model in 1:200 while us 1:400 collectors are suffering from a severe MD-80 drought!

Nonetheless, I plan on getting her, and the NW A320 will keep my A319 company.

Finally!!!
The third model in the original America West scheme.
Totally getting the 757. And, to echo the requests of others, can't wait for the 733 (especially since that was the equipment used by HP on their initial flights into Midway).

Also getting the USAirways and the Air China.
Nice releases. Not a spectacular month, but good, solid releases.

Besides, this leaves more money for cleaning up on 1/200 releases. Much more to see there!!!

DAMN STRAIGHT!

Btw, the nose on that 1:200 727-200 is all wrong. They must've gotten the specs for that mold from Fisher Price. The hushkits are messed up too. This is very heartbreaking. The 727-200 is my all-time favorite aircraft, and I would've loved to have seen a kick-*** 1:200 from GJ.

Thumbs up Re: GJ July releases

Nice selections as always, but it will be a light month for me. Let's hope that the 1:200 MD-80 is a sign that a 1:400 version is on the way.

I'm not to enthused with the choices, but if I were to get anything I would get the Hawiian Air 717 or the U.S. Airways Express CRJ-700.

No Air Canada and United Airlines new colours on A320 family Someone needs to do them, they are some of the most common aircraft you see in North America! I'd also like to see a Delta A320 and A319 but they were only recently painted.
