HI...I recently heard about this PLANE.Can anyone PLEASE shed any light on this beauty??PLUS,where can I obtain it minus the INFLIGHT order??

It's a StarJet, so 1:500 scale, the first in a series of 4 for JAL.

They are:
DC-8
727-100
747-400
767-300

The 727 and 747 are out already as well.

I got my DC-8 off eBay, there's usually a couple there.

Just got the DC-8 and 727 and must say I can hardly stop drooling. Absolute works of art. Thanks StarJets! Is the JAL 727 StarJets' first 727? Guys, it is unreal.

Norb- just got the 727 today as well! Amazing- It actually, really has scaled gear!

And, yes, it's the first 727 for SJs, although I understand the Pan Am's are out now as well.

I bought mine in Japan. I got the LAST DC-8! JAL sold them to retailers after selling them on board for only a month.

I'll let you have it in exchange for an interesting trade...

Interestingly enough, the JAL DC-8 was a Top 3 Hottest Seller according to my Value Guide just a month ago, fetching an average of over $80 per plane. Last month they were going for about half that (about $50). Now watch the prices soar again.
Man, I'm a huge DC-8 fan and absolutely love the one I got (for about $40 a month ago), but the 727, sporting a paint scheme I was unfamiliar with, simply blew me away.
StarJets, keep 'em coming, and coming and coming. And more 727s!
