Aeroclassics BA VC-10

Check out what I got for $20 bucks at the LAX airliners show. 1 of 54 world wide. They were rejected because of their poorer quality. these were made in China not in England

OK, now I'm totally confused. Romania picks one up for $20 and I haven't been able to find one anywhere for the typically Aeroclassic $45-$50. What gives? Was this the red tail BA VC-10? Or were these models rejected by AK himself and only Aeroclassic wannabes?

I had one in my hands and returned it due to poor quality. It was nothing like the other VC-10s produced. The BA I had actually had a curved fuselage and was poorly painted. Not worth keeping at any price.

I find it hard to believe that AK would release any sort of inferior product. He takes great pride in the quality of his models.

I can only imagine that the one mentioned above was either a QC mix up, or someone got their hands on one they should'nt have.
