Yes..I have the first working development machette and a BN FColors Green. On the way:
Eastern, Northeast, BN FColors Blue,Pan Am.

Although, Im closely connected to this project, some might consider my opinions biased, however, they are not. Ive been wanting the -300 since FOREVER!
This hand-built-from-scratch-model is not a DW or GJ type product. It is sculpture in miniature. Apples to Oranges. This is very low production boutique model. The quality speaks for itself. Check out Gordon' just completed Alaska posted above. Quality continues to improve with every finished piece.
Mirage Model news:
Right now the SCSS -Sonic Cruiser Super Stretch is being completed. I have two coming. One in AA polished metal foil and a JAS Kurowsawa. The vectored thrust exhausts and wingtips will be articulated. A centerline 6-wheel bogie tricks out the package. See comp scrap image for apprx size of this beast. Not 100 percent, but close. Thanks ALL POSTERS for the reference.

All of this thanks to JR Lacerda's incredible determination and talent. He has partnered into making something the model market has left unanswered, and wait till you see the Lockheed 2000!

Herb~

^^^Wow, Even the SCSS engines alone can swallow at least a dozen of those other planes!

It seems that your first SCSS is getting the full works. I can't wait to see it!

I have the very first Boeing 2707-300 production model. As far as quality goes, these models are already high and improving each time. They still look handmade, but improving with each build. They look just fine standing next to other models by DW, GJ and AC. Don't forget that the prices do cover for the extra time of labor, extremely low production numbers, and high potential collectors and historic value of these early models. Look at the photos. They look just as good or better in person. Believe me. They just only feel lighter.

You can even have them customized to your liking!
