I would love to see her repainted as Piedmont "Tidewater Pacemaker"! I grew up watching PI's Threes fire up just a few feet from the observation deck at Standiford Field in the 1950s. The doors were always on the left side on PI Threes, so the fumes from start-up would blow back right to where I was leaning over the rail. I never had a chance to fly on a PI Three, but I did get to fly thewir M 404s, F 27, FH 227, and YS 11As. Great airline that flew into some very hard to get to mountain airstrips. I also love the regional names of their "Pacemakers".
