Wow! So the PHX A300 is finally out!

I hope we can see some pics soon to see if PHX was able to match the quality of the AC version.

For some reason I am always the one who missed out on popular new releases because i'm an inch too slow to order.

But this time I have to make sure I get my hand on the VB 737.

By the way, just curious, can you ask popular online retailers (such as jetcollector, jetwaymodel, collectablejets etc) to reserve a particular model for you before it's released, by means such as email? Does any body do that to ensure that they dont miss out on a model?

You can order up and coming releases can't you??

Buy at the time and then when it arrives, they send it to you.

I do it all the time, especially with Aeroclassics because they sell out so quickly. It might help if you have established a relationship with a particular retailer - you don't need to take him out to dinner, but regular monthly orders will let him know that you are a good customer for him to try and keep.

Yes, I do that. I send Nick @ Jetway an email of what I want to reserve right after I see what has been released. I'm sure he can do the same for you.

I agree with the above said. I've got a pretty decent relationship with Dave from Daves Diecast and he usually knows what I'll be after with upcoming releases.

Unfortunately that doesn't help much with Aeroclassics and I'm still yet to find a place that I can call my 'one-stop-shop'. I think the last 3 or 4 times I've purchased new AC releases from different stores. There's usually no problem with this as I do get the models I'm after, but I'd rather go to one place, to establish that relationship and 'loyalty' rather than going from place to place.

aerozo, it's good to be aware of the 'major' stores, and just keep an eye out on their Pre-order pages. I think most (if not all) have them. As soon as you see a model you want in the preorder, go for it!

For example, there's currently a model in Adamjet's Presales page which I know will peak a lot of interest.
