As discussed on the phone tonight Tim, you are 100% correct, this model looks great. Can't wait till Saturday till I pick mine up. Thanks for posting the pics.

I actually thought this model would never get done.
I picked up my from Macarthur the other day for a great price and not one regret. Maybe GJ could pull their finger out and make us all REALLY happy and get some SP's onto the market!!! |

I have this model and am very pleased with it.
It looks very good next to my Ansett and Air New Zealand 762s. As suggested, QF SPs in a range of liveries (including the Australia Asia livery) would be big sellers. Unicorn |

Mine Qantas 762 arrive yesterday, i must say it a really nice model, I find disappointing due to the front of the plane wasn't polish, so the rest of the plane nice and shinny but the head section ain't. Maybe it's a one off?. Oh well order another one just in case it run out like the QF 737-800.

Maybe I'm missing something, but haven't QF 767's been released by several makers? What is it about this particular release that has you Danundah folks so pleased?

A really nice model to have. Also, if you look closely at the engines, you'll find that GJ has paid extra attentions to the engine blades of most of its recent 767s releases.

I ordered this one last month. It'll be the first B762 in my collection and will sit nicely next to my AC Qantas A300.
I'd like to see a Britannia B762 in the 80s/90s livery too. Also, I'm not into fantasy models but the only one I would ever like to have is a Britannia B762 in the late 70s/early 80s livery. A lot of Britannia's pre-delivery material promoted the B762 in this livery and it was actually released at the time on a Wooster 1:200 model. |

Awaiting mine's arrival. Will line up nicely with the rest of the fleet. Judging from the photos and other user comments this will be quite a gem for the collection!

You and I think alike so often Steve!! Yes please - streaming stars Ansett (delivery scheme). I need lots more streaming stars stuff - it was the last Ansett scheme to fit my diorama's time period. I'd love an AN 762 because Ansett was good enough to send me to Melbourne and Sydney on a couple of "educationals" (freebies) on their brand new 767s. Also want 727-200s and F-28s in streaming stars to go with my BAe146-200s. Can't wait for my GJ QF 762 to arrive. Yours looks fantastic Tim! Gavin |
