Probably better than most collectors could make and the ability to buy in bits means that you can spread the costs over a period of time, rather than ponying up a vast wad of cash for the GJ terminal set.

In addition it makes a nice small diorama to fit on a shelf and feature a favoured model or two.

I kinda liked your idea, never thought of it that way.
Now I'm not gonna buy this, but I have a mat that I'm not using because it's too big to fold out, it's about 3metre x 1metre which can hold about 15 planes. Thanks for the cool idea.

How much are these going for?

They'd be nice on my shelf at work.

And it gives you more options as far as the terminal layout goes. You can have as many or as little gates as you wish between the two round portions of the terminal.

Kudos to Dragon! If only the building itself was a little more realistic, though...

Me thinks that a complete set like the GJ version is not that far off.

Actually, this is a pretty cool idea. The buildings are pretty cheesy, but the rest of the set looks good, and having the model and GSE thrown is is a very nice touch. The models and ground foil alone are worth the money.

Are you selling strictly as sets, or can you buy them individually?

I like the texturing of the ground foils, although the graphics could be a little more weathered to resemble reality. The accessories and buildings look far too toyish. They do not match the quality of the airliner models. I suppose collectors with good model making skills can paint, texture, weather and detail these sets to add more realism, but why should they need to? I would also want to replace the GSE with those from Gemini, but again, why should I need to? Do some airline model companies still think these are children's toys?

Wow, how many sets they are going to release in future???

BTW, US$86 for 4 sets, including 4 plane & 4 terminal & GSE's seems worthiness. ^_^

This fresh new airport design contains a grand total of 12 subcomponent sets. Each section consists of a dioramic ground base, a classic Dragon Wings aircraft, and other optional accessories such as a terminal building section, passenger air bridge, ground support vehicles or lampposts. When all 12 assortments are combined, they create a remarkably realistic airport scene. Alternatively, collectors can mix and match sets to produce an airport format and size of their own choosing. In the past collectors were content to park their airliners on an empty shelf or cabinet, but now collection displays will be revolutionized as airliner fans display their parked or taxiing models in custom-built airports. For the sake of convenience, these airport assortments will be released onto the market in three separate batches, four sets at a time. “Collectors, your aircraft are now cleared to land and taxi to your assigned gates!”

Still have another 4 sets!!!

Thank you Lai....usually every small part is sold separately. Im surprised to see ground foil, gse, model, bridges, terminal, etc combined into one "SET". Im looking forward to test buying one.
