I don't care what other would say about this model but hot dang, I'm so getting that. Would be a great addition to my international freighter airlines in my collection. Great job JX.

Hi C-Rex! I am not comparing if I should keep my Magic version or buy this Jet-X. However, my recent purchase of Jet-X Saudi Arabian Cargo 742F told me that their cockpit windows are printed so high above the normal location of the cockpit should be!

A bit off-topic!!! Dear Moderators, would you please add the recent new released AV400, e.g. China Southern B737-700 and Jet-X Saudi Arabian 747s into the database as I have just acquired them recently. Thanks in advance!

The nose looks funny. It must be that the windows are so high on the fluselage. A simple mistake to modify, witht he right decals.

Hey Late400.
So what's your opinion about the magic model ?

Saudi Arabia.

I already walked away from the JX Saudi 742F because of the cockpit, and opted for the old release MD11F, think fits my modern Intl Freighter collection fleet better than the B742F. The reason why I walked away from the 742F, is exactly about the cockpit windows, while on this KE's cockpit is not looking misplaced as on the Saudi's bare looking scheme.

Anything to make a diorama look good, a wrong cockpit windows on one of the models won't make a diorama look bad.

Yes I fully agreed with you. Since my collection is based on the regular flight schedule of Hong Kong International Airport in which Saudi Cargo flies both the 742F and MD11F regularly. Thus, I can't avoid getting the JET-X version as it is virtually impossible to get the BB version now.

For Saudia B744, I am waiting for Dragon Wings version instead.

^^I have that 744 on preorder, I don't know anyone who has the DW 744, you mind doing a review when you get it, I'l post some angle shots of the JetX to make some comparison.

Dragon Wings won't be doing a Saudi 744. Jet-X no longer deals with Dragon Wings, So No Plastic Wings, bit also no piggie back releases from DW. If you want the Saudi's you'll have to get the Jet-X now. PM Me, and I'll hook you up. Also, This Korean DE will not have any part of.

Dragon announced the Saudi 744 a few months ago, did they cancel it?

I did go the JetX way. I stopped collecting Dragons eons ago due to their plastic wings. Very rare that I went the dragon way, mostly if a model weren't produced by the others. A UK seller got the Saudi's covered for me. Thanks anyway.

If Dragon Announced it, then I guess they are doing it, but It could be up to a year before you ever see it. Im surprised that they intend on doing it, but latly nothing should suprise me coming from Dragon. They have there own way of ruining things.

It's been quite a while since they announced it but not as along as Herpa.

That looks so so much like the old BigBird mould to me going by the pylons and the sharp triangular wingtips.
Will be very interested to see these in person.
The artwork on the box is super.

Partially agree, because the old BB cockpit & windows size & scale to the fuselage is terrible and DW did better in this field.
