I heard that but can someone who worked so hard to produce fine models in the past just sell up and retire? Maybe he has still got a little bit of his finger in the pie.

Please tell us Brian rather than hearing it from someone else.

It is and no frames on the cockpit windows. Just hope this never made them that little bit smaller.

This get my thumbs up and it has a nice smaller engine serial.

Jet-X is officially owned by another group now. I'm just a contractor with no financial interest in the company. Shouldn't change anything with the collectors. If you like it, buy it. If you don't, that's ok, don't buy it. Same rules for all releases from all manufacturers.

It does change things Brian! You took pride in what you did, and you brought us some really nice stuff over the years. Your product, though made by DW, was always noticably better than DW, and you had a loyal following.

Jet-X is now owned by the same group of pirates, who have brought us money-grabs and garbage, under such names as so-called Blue Box, Net Models, C&C, Big Bird, Magic, First Choice, and who the F knows what else! Big difference!! These guys are in it for the quick buck, and could give a hoot about aviation, it's history, or acuracy in the junk they put out.

At this point Brian, I can only thank-you for what you have done for the hobby, and wish you every success in your future!

Looks like white frames around the windows, or is that just the color scheme? Also, nobody has pointed out, what does this model represent? Is it a factory rollout, a trial VC-10 for the RAF, or what? Whatever it is, I think I need to add this to the British aviation portion of my collection.

No white frames as you put, this is how the plane was. The RAE are a company that tests most things Aviation in a nut khell in the UK . Others will tell you more than I can.
