Default Philippine Airlines Airbus A340-300

Here's my review of my Gemini Jets PAL Airbus A340-300. In 1/400 scale, it's a good fit to my budding collection. The colors are nice and vibrant, which I like.
OK..now for the negative part of the review. The number one engine (left wing) is attached to the pylon crooked. Also, if you view the aircraft from head on, it appears that the cockpit windows are printed crooked as well. I'm not that picky so it stays in my collection!
Other than that, I'm happy with it. Without further delay..here's the pics!

I have crooked cockpit windows on my Air Canada 777-300 also. Make sure Crownvic doesn't see this thread

Nothing is perfect. Since PAL is my home airline, I'll buy it (this PAL GJ343 was the first PAL model when I started fleetbuilding.)

I have recieved the GJ 77W today.
It's not in the picture, the one you see there is the DW 77W.

Don't mind the (wrong) upside down flag on the A380. Custom made - mistake.

I know... You told me about the "love bus", but at that time, My account was frozen for a couple of months, due to some hurdles being on the way.. So in fact I have it ordered like last week.

I have this A340, and in general I'm happy with it.

The only real QC problem on mine is the central main landing gear. It's facing the port side at a 45 degree angle! I doubt it is even possible for the gear on the real aircraft to turn that much.

IIRC the central gear, which I assume you mean "center gear" is stationary while the MLG's can turn to a certain degree clockwise/counterclockwise depending of the aircraft's ground movement.

Btw my A340's center gear is not touching the ground. It's like 0.8mm off the ground. But my visitors hardly notice that, it's a rare thing that they get closer than half metre from my models. lol.
