Nice, very nice. I have this model, l prefer it w/o winglets. Real jets don't have winglets.

I agree, however, did you ever see the Continental DC-10 red meatball with winglets? Or the Delta 727's with winglets? Pretty damn hot I must say!

Trevor-Nice work man! What did you use to make those ultra thin white "aircraft safety area" borders?

I think the use of natural outdoor lighting is great, really adds to the realism of the models. I like either the winglets or the plain wings...it's a good looking aircraft either way. I only have the winglet version, since when I was in California last year, those were the only ones Southwest had coming into Lindburgh Field (I did some spotting while I was there, from Balboa Park, naturally). Keep the pics coming, TC!

Hi TCSImages.com

I would like to clarify your model whether had my defects on mine or not.

I also just bought the Southwest 737 & the wings also had no details at all, unlike what the official GJ web site shown that it should be escape indicator should be printed like below...?
GeminiJets Online - Introducing Gemini200

Can we get the refund or exchange...? I'm really upset about this...!

I also didn't like about is the wrong landing gear color, not sure if it happens to your model...but take a look at mine...

Left landing gear without any problem since it painted the orange center ring, but if you pay attention to the right landing gear, GJ painted the inner ring into orange instead of silver...

Here is the angle from the right hand side, you an clear see that the right landing gear didn't paint the inner ring into orange...

But if you look at the picture from GJ, they did it correctly...so what's the problem...? Quality control over China...?

I think the model featured in the photoshoot is 1/400, not 1/200. And it looks like your Gemini has the same gear on both sides, instead of port and starboard gears.

He's right it's 1:400 scale not 1:200 scale; you can kind of tell from the detail of the plane.

It was a 1:200 model, a 1:400 model won't have the detail antenna sticking out from the fuselage...& the gear is not the same as listed from the GJ web site.

No, I think you misunderstood. TCS's plane in the pictures is a 1/400, you don't see any antennas in the pics, do you? I used to have that exact model. And looking at the landing gear of your model, they used the same piece for both sides, instead of a left and right gear...or they installed one backwards. Either way, your model escaped the QC inspector...maybe you should get a hold of the retailer you bought it from, he might be able to exchange it for you.

Winglets are awesome, not only do they improve fuel efficency, they look cool, too, if a bit flimsy
