Hopefully, the buyer won't get "buyer's regret" and refuse to pay for it....

Winning bidder has (0) history of purchases on Ebay. Could possibly be a fake buyer just trying to run up the price.

I would like GJ to make the South African A340-300 model too if they are proven to be so popular.

The ***'s in the bid history are for bid privacy apparently.

FYI, the buyer paid instantly and was very happy with the item.

i was in on the bidding, JB is very reputable so good it could have come from him but broke at $60 mark . popular because its south african and a 340-600 , i love the length of the 340-600 , a 300 wouldnt be so appealing but would still buy it, alot of the rare expensive models go to those with very little history, in most cases i think its jacking up the bid but in JBs defence there will also be those collectors who are willing to use ebay only a s alast resort but whe they do they will pay handsomely to get it, you can take the 26 bids and reduce to about 15 bids because the model has good value and only gets silly after a point, i was offered one of these for $79 , still too much, missed out on this a few months ago, sold for about $23.00

I had this model and I liked it. I don't think I'd pay 211 for this model though. Well I mean I don't think I'll pay $211 for any models. Thats just way too much.

That's great to hear. Why not inaugurate him with his first ever positive feedback on Ebay?

Ha ha, actually after posting this my wife painted me a picture of a man surrounded by six hungry kids, staring in shock at his newly bought SAA A346 on ebay. Feel guilty now...
I think all of us have a holy grail, with me it would be the El Al B742 freighter from Aeroclassics, registration 4X-AXG (am Dutch and relates to Bijlmer accident). I can see myself getting carried away with bidding easily! Btw for those in the GTA area, I've yet to come back empty handed from the collector shows in Toronto, great stuff going on. |

lost the south african A340-600 on ebay again, latest only sold for $75 , i was willing to pay $74, even that was too much, i only have one model i paid over $100 for and that was the south african lebombo, thats about the going rate, even got a BB BA Australia for less then $90 so i wasnt going any further.
r3500 picking this model up for $20.00 ( CANADIAN) still gives me hope .

Sorry to hear that. I bought it because the SAA A346 really looks good (not to make a profit or anything) but if this is a must have for you, take a look at the high priorities (5 stars) on my wishlist, perhaps we can work out a trade. Send me a PM in that case.
