Default Which is your preferred retailer ?

I would like to know which are the best retailers according to your experiences bearing in mind: Cost, speed/delivery, service and post service (you know, when things go wrong), reliability, etc...

According to what I have experienced, these are my preferred retailers:

1/ Jetcollectors.com
2/ Aviationmegastore.com
3/ Jetawaysmodels.com
4/ Aviation-Center-Berlin.de

Obviously there are many more to try, but with your answers it will be easier for me and for anyone else to buy at the right places . Thanks

Buchair in the NYC area. Kevin, the owner, and his wife. They run a superb operation with fantastic customer service. Kevin is also finishing the first of three books devoted to Turkish Aviation.

Don't have one! I go for availiblity of models. Some have them others don't. Becoming tougher to find for certain models.

Jetway is my preferred retailer. I only shop elsewhere if Nick doesn't have a model I want which is rare.

My prefered retailer is me! I do like the selection that The Airplane Shop has to offer and for AeroClassics Slick Nick the Jetway Hick. Other than that I like myself. The price is right, the shipping is quick..what to complain about?

You might like to consider Collectablejets and Jetcollector to save on international shipping(that's exactly what I do).

Absolutely hands down Jetway Models. Nick is fast, friendly, and usually beats everyone else's prices. I've never had a bad deal with him.

You are closer to Hong Kong than we here in the US, Uni. Your shipping costs are lower than ours are I would suspect.

For outside US buyers like us, cheap shipping is really a major factor in determining a retailer to buy from. My personal favourite is 'collectablejets'. Super cheap shipping for international buyers and their 'free model offer' is simply so~ tempting.

For me Great Value Export, demographer Uk (first class collectables) peewee air and virgin fan.........all have been great with postage and trouble free purchases and a few others i may have missed but these have all stood out as major sellers at least in my opinion and none have let me down so far.

Thumbs up Re: Which is your preferred retailer ?

In Sweden there is no shop or dealer where you can see the or pick the models of the shelf.

After trying some web shops in Europe I find Aviation Center in Berlin being the No 1!!

I go there some times (when I have other business in Berlin). Good selection and very cooperative to accept orders on phone or E-mail when it can be difficult to reach their web site when I'm out traveling.

Really first class service. Some say they are "pricy" but I prefer a good service and first class treatment and I'm ready to pay for that.

Sorry mate, but my Avalanche only gets 13 mpg! Oh, that and the 3 teenage kids I have as well. Put them together and they are sucking my wallet dry as the Great Sandy desert!

In Toronto if the models are available.

http://www.thresholdaviation.com/Default.asp?c=4359 or
http://www.aviationworld.net/Default.asp?c=43533

I've been getting some stuff from the US from
JoePilot.com Pilot Supplies, Aeronautical Charts, Aircraft Supplies and More .
Great service, good prices and excellent shipping.

Wow Nick after all the publicity out here, I am going to send you some orders next time.

I hope this doesn't lead to a fuel surcharge on orders!
