Default Finally, Phoenix Cathay Pacific 777-300ER

Holy Molly, I have to say this is an excellent, excellent CX Models that any have been produced, Phoenix got the color really close to the real one this time.

Just a reminder, I've seen some of the batch of the models, the color are just really light compare to the one I've got in my hand.

Overall. this is a bloody excellent model !!

Sorry for the quality of the pictures !

Can you please explain more how light the green can be and do you mean the green on the tail or the fuselage?

The other batch I've seen, the green is exactly the same as the green they used on Phoenix EVA 777-300ER (Normal Livery) . Both on the fuselage and the shark fin

This one as you seen are the other batch which the color is really close to/exactly the same as the real one.

Hope this helps.

You mean it will sell as a Herpa model like the rest of the CX fleet?

I prefer the PX 777 mould to the HE 777 mould and would love to get one of these. Where can one be ordered from?

Definitely, excuse the pun, but it is time to spread your wings. Seriously try something different. You might like it and you might not. Other companies have different merits compared to Gemini so give dragon and phoenix a try.

By the sounds of it (from the original post), that means Phoenix did one batch in a close to Cathay green, and the other one sounds pretty much like the 'wrong' green which they used on the A330-300 100th Aircraft release :|

I really hope I get a proper green one - but that's in the hands of my retailer!

In any case, the photographed one looks excellent. The Phoenix B777 is a pretty awesome mould. If Herpa decide to bring one out down the track, I'll probably get that one too.

Dan

The pics look great and like Dan, will go for the HE/HO if released also.

Well I just checked with Air Paradigm, but I guess someone who read that thread before me wasted no time in grabbing up the last one! Now they're out too.

Are they sold out? This is the CX 777 that has not yet been released isn't it? If so something to keep in mind is that I may be the only crazy retail operation that does not presell models. That means, as in this case, that I will have them when they are released. Timing is everything sometimes. If you cannot locate one what you might do is chech my online store around the time they are released and you may find one at that time.

By the way the reason that I do not presell or promise future releases is because sometimes the more popular models are allocated. There is no way to tell, with any accuracy, what will be received. I hate to promise and then not be able to deliver with respect to these popular releases.

Is this another Herpa/Hogan pairing, similar to the ANA's that were released about two years ago (The Japan only exclusives)?

I've been looking around for those for quite some time, but I've never seen them below $70.
