it couldn't be the MD-80 series, could it? its the one mould that gemini doesnt have and please, please, make an alaska md-80, and an american md-80. (both current colors) These are some of the hardest to find, most sought out models in my opinion. I would buy like 10 of each.

What is wrong with me. I read that and didn't make the connection.
Can I take the dunderhead award pls.

Lemme have another guess, its a Boeing764

No seriously, lemme guess....

I flew on a AA Maddog from Tampa via DFW to LAX in 1st. Great bird.

If the M82 / 83 are in that same type, then GJ do these.

Ok... I'll go against the grain on the MD-80 and maybe hope for a 747SP or revised L-1011...

But I dunno from the clues above or whatever else. I guess we'll find out some time.

Though I'm hoping for a Delta L-1011-500 on a revised mould, I assume an AA MD-80 is more likely - just my two cents...

Now see....He said retro AND current lovers will be happy. This makes me think this one aircraft will have 2 separate liveries available (at least initially).

I'll join the speculation that it is a Mad Dog...However, I'm gonna say its going to be Delta, with the widget and '07 colors!

though I surely hope for AA! (They didn't fly any Mad Dogs in the retro livery did they?)

Another option could be Continental with the meatball scheme (either red or black) and the current livery...just a thought!

It must be something in the MD80 series - Gemini cant compete with Aeroclassics in the classic 9 arena and they know it (that’s why we haven’t seen anything for awhile). And the L1011 has vanished for reasons I can’t even begin to understand because everyone else is releasing L1011 models on a pirated version of the Gemini mold (except for InFlight).

Now if they were really smart they’d blanket the market with all variants like SMAC did years ago and Aeroclassics is doing right now. I wish this new mold could include a reworking of the 717 but I guess it isn’t worth it for them (not enough liveries).

My guess is either American or Delta (Delta has been doing a lot of work with them lately). Actually, it must be Delta because there is no retro American Airlines MD80 colours.

Steven De Lisser

PS - AK, Sicko was brilliant, MM isn’t the villian you think he is.

Guys, as I said before, it is obviously the MD-80 sorry to all you L1011 lovers out there but the MD-80 is the only mould that they have yet to release. It is nescessary for gemini to create this mould because almost, if not every other company has a mould of the md-80 and there is a huge market for the american md-80 as demonstrated by the dragon md-82. I really hope that the new mould is MD-80 because the market really needs a good quality one. I would also be pleased to see a Northwest DC-9 new colors. This could also be an etremely lucrative product.

It is obvious that it is and American MD-80. He has basically said it in one of his previous responses.

Here it is:
Some dog is really mad right now, and yes QFA, he lives in America.....n

Alright the MD-80 is referred to as the Mad Dog at times. And he indicates that it is American Airlines by saying "he lives in America.......n"

I have never joined in on one of these but what is retro about an AA MD-80.

Although I would love to see one.

I would also like to see a TWA 1649 Starliner Constellation.

Hey Dylan, I just got home from my week in LAS. It was great talking to you and Chris at ADI! I'm about to put the 10 models I got there inside my display cabinet with the rest of my collection.

Some very cool DC-8-71s are also due to be released within the next 90 days, together with some exciting goodies in the 1:200 scale!

This hobby keeps getting more and more interesting!
