Damn it I broke under the pressure of numbers. 89! I wonder how this will look next to past 777 Delta releases in 1:400. Hard to believe this is the fourth livery on the 777 if you count the Salt Lake Olympic games.

[quote=jairE170;565537]Now Delta's new 77L model is available.

Thanks for the tip! Just ordered one.

By the way, the model database page for this plane has an asterisk (*) before the reg. number. Any idea why?

Also, check out a pic of the real plane. Only a portion of it is visible behind the Boeing Dream Lifter! What the heck is that???

You call that Dream Lifter an airplane. Ya look at the thing and it looks like its doesn't belong in the air. UGLY.

Mine arrived 2 days ago (27 Feb.) here in Ireland. The shipping was done with UPS and was very reasonable.
So the model can be ordered and shipped internationally.

Either that, or an eBay mogul snapped them up to jack the price and put them up for auction.

They're not even showing up on eBay. It looks like everyone who bought one plans on keeping theirs for years to come.

I'm sure they'll start popping up eventually. Maybe the eBayers were waiting for the Delta Shop to run out first...

I have good news! Those who did not get a chance to order this model or those who want another be ready on May 28, 2008. It appears that they will be selling more at deltashop.com on that date so make sure to have your credit cards ready because I am sure these will go faster than the original bunch!

My new airport will be finished at the beginning of April (for the upcoming Toronto Show), and Delta will be the dominant carrier displayed. Will post pics then.

Ordered two of these LR 777s from the DeltaShop, waiting on the other two to show up. So far, service has been good.
