Did you try to go to a hobby shop in Specialist Building? Sorry I forgot the name.
There is one also in Far East Plasa, 1st floor.

But, I agree with you, the price in Singapore is somehow unbelievable!!

I am not very sure about the name: Specialist Building? Specialist Shopping Center?...sorry..but, it is located at Orchard Rd.

The hobby shop in the Specialist Shoppoing Center on Orchard Road and the one on 1st Floor in the Far East Plaza Building on Scotts Road are both quite expensive, friendly sales staff though. I bought some nice Dragon 1:400 models in the Atria Shopping Center, top floor, at very reasonable prices. That was in 2004, don't know whether they are still there.

The Atria is the modern complex on Orchard Road - I think corner Scotts Road and very close to Borders Book shop. In the basement there is a restaurant cum disco/bar. Sorry for not being more specific on the location but it has been a while now since I left Singapore.

The Atria which you guy has mentioned had already moved to Wheelock which that shop name called Nikko since year 2005, aritrixa has mentioned... and they are going to move soon in this March 01 to Far East Shopping, next to Hilton Hotel. They have another branch which located at Millenia walk...

As for Far East Plaza, those models are supply by Pureplane... You may e-mail him as aritrixa has mentioned... That shop do not have any models execpt those models which you need to fix them up...

Other than these mentioned shops, there isn't anymore other shop in Singapore...

THere are no cheap shops in Singapore - that I'm aware of anyway.
Try Nikko in Suntec City if its still there.
Orchard Store in the Phx centre is a rip off.
other wise - use the Buy it Now option on ebay.....

...I have'nt been to Singapore for years now so maybe I'm out of date.
