A nice consolation prize for those for whom the P Models version of the -200 got priced out of the market.
Not as nice a mould, but acceptable as a substitute. Unicorn

Funny how the Sydney collectorate were only talking about the 146's at our recent meet on Thursday. I'll get this one, will compliment my 7-strong fleet from P models.

The GJ version looks crap.
Love the whacking great gap at the tail to fuse join where skippy loses his legs. Pass on that one for sure. JX/P models only for me.

I have already ordered the Jet-X version and is still waiting for it to arrive. I might have go for the GJ version if they have release this beauty a month earlier(gonna have a close comparison between the 2 versions once my order arrives). Just a thought, can its front gear turn sideways just like the Jet-X version?

The arze-sitting gj version with that stupid fuselage to wing gap and the gap on the tail to fuselage join isn't even worthy of being an aquarium ornament.

It'll make a good 'take-off' version at an airport diorama
![]() I agree, the different rego is about all that's going for this (for the fleet builders), and anyone who missed a P Model will probably snap this up too... Dan

I am glad I didn't get those Jetx versions. I'll wait for Gemini Jets to release them.

I have the 1,2 and 300 P Model Qantaslink's and I think they are fantastic.
Is Gemini's 146 mould really as bad as some are making it out to be? I would like to hear more from those that own both. Trent

Thanks Tim. I'll stick with my P models.
They are a nice little set. Very happy I managed to pick them up. Trent

Just for comparisons sake, I put a GJ 146 alongside a P Models version. Was interesting to see the differences in the models.
For the first time I noted how frustrating the GJ butt-dragger can be. I was lucky to snap off a few rounds while it wanted to play nice and sit properly. P Models have got the model weighted so that sitting on it's backside is not an issue. The details in both models are comparable, though I like how P Models executed the wing root section much more, and the seem for the tail compared with GJ. Aileron details are nicer on the P Model, but elevator details seem higher on the GJ. All in all, you can decide ![]() Dan

Absolutely!
Thanks very much for taking the time to do this Dan. It's easy to see "P" nailed the nose and rear end in comparison to Gemini. It's now an extremely easy decision to overlook Gemini's 146 Qantaslink. Thanks again for all your feedback guys. Trent
