Default GJ's recent Continental 738---one of the most accurately-painted CO n/c models ever

I just now looked at a pic of one, and noticed that it's actually in two-tone grey as it should be---the wings and stabs are Boeing grey, but the belly and nacelles are CO grey. This is rarely done (or even noticed). They did it on their ERJ-145 too.

Several airlines have their own "pale grey" which contrasts with "the airplane's manufacturer's grey". Notably KLM n/c, and USAirways o/c. I know GJ did the USAirways o/c 757 right, don't know about the A330, nor any of their KLM n/c. Some contrast more than others. Boeing and CO grey are quite close under most conditions, KLM and Airbus grey are very obvious in some light, KLM is lighter. USAirways and Boeing grey are about the same shade, but different hues (Boeing is warm, US is cool). Airbus grey is cooler than Boeing grey, so the cooler USAirways grey is very hard to tell on Airbuses.

He said he was available as a consultant, but Gemini could not afford the $1,000,000.00 fee Mr. Hingtgen commands yearly....

Just got my CO 738 w/winglets today. It's a beauty! My new favorite plane. Hopefully a CO 757 w/winglets is coming soon. My baby needs a big brother.

I still plan to complain every month that "the big three" of the A320 family--United grey/blue, NW red/gray, and USAirways dark blue---are not released.

PS--please research the corogard patterns. NW's A320's are unique among all A320's due to their corogard pattern. And United's fleet is not consistent. All the later ones (the vast majority) have all-grey wings.
