What I'm trying to understand is why do you care? You've stated you won't buy a Jet-X model; you don't have a 146 mould; you don't sell anything but your models anymore. So again, why do you care? Spare us all the 'looking out for the collector garbage' because when you have errors, we're supposed to look the other way.

Finally, something that I bet has gone unnoticed - I've never said anything negative about AC models unless you've directly posted negative comments in a JX related thread. That means you've always fired the first shot - what do you expect, me to sit quiet all the time?

You've alienated enough people in this hobby (retailers, distributors, and collectors) - how much further do you want to go? What pisses me off is your two-face BS. You continually slam our product on public forums, but when you see me at airliner shows, you act all friendly and open - sorry, no more. There's that old saying: Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer. Too bad you fail miserably at both.

Than why were you defending the "real BB" when they released their crap last year. All these brands like Big Bird/Green Box/Aurora/PL Models or whatever cheap name is labelled on these overprized models are the same kind of moneygrabbers like Magic or BBx. None of them are licensed, (hence all are fake) and produced in China where producing anything is as cheap as can be.

What's the difference between them? I don't get it.

Klein is the principle of Aeroclassics, a 1:400 diecast manufacturer. He sells models in competition with Dragon Wings, Gemini, Phoenix, C&C, Magic, Jet-X and others.

Thus his criticisms of other manufacturers are hardly unbiased, they reflect the fact that they are his competitors.

Its like expecting a Ford dealer to have good things to say about the Nissan and Chrysler ranges.

Take any of his pronouncements with a large grain of salt and a sceptical attitude.

is this jet-x guy the ceo of jet-x , hmm interesting how d.a.c has managed to attract kleins comments and jet x , they can fight amongst thereselves and we can reap the rewards of haveing them here , i have a few jet-x products from there earlier time but not many, only because jet-x never produced many liveries i liked except the eva air , will pass on the presidential as its not my colour but will wait and see what larger aircraft they make in the future ,

What turns me off to the model is who it's named after. Bechanan was the WORST president in US history, and that is saying something!

Among his other stunts was to lunleash the US Army against a religion to take people's minds off the coming civil war. This episode goes down in US histoiry as "The Mormon War" as was the only time the US Army was ever used against an American religion.

With another Flame War now between Aero Classics and Jet X, I bring to the forum that despite these two being currently "at odds", they have been Closer and Make Similar Contributions Than Either Want To Admit!!

Both AC & JX have Very Limited Production Numbers of thier Models.

Both AC & JX have produced Airlines / Liveries that Others Have Not.

Both AC & JX have produced Several Registrations of the Same Airline and Opposing Registrations of certain Airlines for Airline Fleet Building.

The Demand for AC & JX Models along with Others despite "flaws" which regardless of Manufacturer, almost EVERY Model has, is by Individual Choice.

I personally DON'T CARE if Dragon & Jet X no longer does business together, or if Aero Classics loans thier molds to Gemini, or WHO "Sleeps With Who" just so long as the "Stolen" or "Pirated" Events of the past are IN THE PAST!!

WHAT MATTERS is ALL Manufacturers including AC & JX bring Diversity to The Collectorate, and almost EVERY Product has earned It's Own Worth...."FLAME WARS" does NOT EARN LOYALITY, THE PRODUCTS IS WHAT EARNS THAT!!

I used to be an avid Jet-X collector, and have most of their earlier releases, and do enjoy them all. It's the recent crap, produced for them by BluNutz, which has forced me to stop buying their product. When those CO DC-9s were released, I felt betrayed & insulted, as a collector, and have not ordered anything since from them.
