Does anyone know what the "British" as opposed to the "British Airways" title signifies? Is it just a variant of the livery or did this aircraft serve a different purpose?

British Airways changed titles to British in the early eighties before changing to the grey scheme.

 Yes it is true that most planes have some fault but consider this. I saw my first Trident in 1976 and looked at it in my airplanebook ever since then. I flew the plane in 1976 and 1980. I have been waiting for an affordable metal model since then. I was collecting schuco/schabak then. Before that I had to make due with the Airfix 1C which was not perfect to begin with since I needed a Trident 2 or 3. So all in all this ain't perfect but it sure is good for me  |
