@ dboyd001:
Throw in a Yak-40 and AN-24 and I'm with ya the whole way on it. Imagine all the possibilities with a Yak 40. And all the variants of the Tu-104 and 114 are great too, can leave space open for a Tu-126, Tu-95, Tu-16 and that one Tu-16 that flew in Aeroflot colors (I think it was used as a Weather plane). YES! While we are about it, how about a TU 134? I have also suggested Il 18. As important as former Soviet aircraft have been and are continuing to be, it is incredible that they have been so poorly represented.

Definitely Russians! I'd also like to see some Dash-7's, some SP's made by AC/BB and IF 200. Some DC-8-70's, even a C-141 by Dragon. Most of all I'd love to see a Avro Jetliner (Limited and probably a very expensive release).

.....I know that it's not always going to happen, but it is always kind of fun to see what new releases everyone would like to see. To me, these past few months have been very, very good with the release of VC-10, Trident and Comet (haven't got one yet, BOAC please?) with prospects for Fokker F-28/100s in the future. It's been pretty good.
.....As others have indicated, there really is a dearth of Soviet/Russian models. Of the few that have been released I'd suspect they were snapped right up. I love Boeings, but gee, variety really is great. That's why I'm so pleased with the three releases of British heritage models. Some more Soviet/Russians would be welcomed. .....Thanks to those that strive to bring us these new, original models. Dave |

Well said, Dave!
The possibilities for the Viscount 800 are breathtaking! Maybe we will see a Viscount 700 someday. I would love to see a DC 4, which could be used in a staggering amount of civil and military cs. Finally, I'd like for all of you to join with me in the singing of my National Anthem, "Oh, say, can you C 46?" |
