Smile Should I buy DW A380 now, or wait for Gemini models?

I want to get the Emirates, Qatar and Etihad in A380 model.
From what you've seen so far which one makes the better A380 and what is your reason behind it?

i quite like the DW emirates A380 but the cockpit windows worry me look crooked and i dont like plastic wings personally. If i was you i would maybe go for the all metal GJ A380

The GJ has the new tooling on their landing gear. I have the GJ Quantas A380 and I like it.

so the only downside would be waiting for GJ to release these, if and when, right?

If you're after instant gratification, go with the DW...the plastic wings still look really good, and the cockpit is ok, despite the say of some. If you want a heavy, all metal model, yeah, you'll have to wait for GJ to put out a few more. Go with the DW, and get GJ later, I say...best of both worlds.

Gemini all the wait. Patience is a virtue. They will surely produce a model in all of the first launch customer liveries. Delay gratification for a bigger reward.

I have the Gemini Qantas, and it is spectacular! Highly detailed landing gear with rolling tires (not toyish at all), cockpit window that looks right, and sturdy detailed metal wings. I'm not even a big fan of Airbus and I'm really impressed by this model...wait for the Gemini's!

IMHO, both are ok. I do not have a particular preference about metal or plastic. Still waiting for the GJ MH A380.

I have the Dragon Etihad and it is good and also seen Herpas. Herpa is also a good one. Still with only having the QANTAS A380 from Gemini I recommend that one. Still it will be a matter of what you like that will be the final say.

I Gaurantee No One Will Hold A Candle To DW's Irredescent Finish On The DW Etihad.
No One will Even Come Close.

The GJ version's nose is completely wrong; it's too long and pointy compared to the real thing.

I would buy the DW version.

Recd the GJ Qantas recently. It s gorgeous. But I can complain about the DWs. I have most of BN, et al and theyre great too.
The GJ does have some updates over the DW, but go with what works best for you.

Since we are on the topic of A380, anyone can share their opinion about the HERPA Malaysia A380? I didn't manage to get that one.

That Herpa MH A380 is exclusive release. Perhaps not so many people can get it.

The only important thing is how long we have to wait!
