If you don't mind me asking, why get this model if there are new releases available without the seam and have the trademark wingtip antennae?

.....I'd suspect it's been on Steve's wishlist for a while and only now managed to find one. If it is a personal favorite, even a few small flaws can be overlooked. Yes, I do have a number of flawed "birds" in my collection, but there they will remain.

I ordered this model when first released but it arrived in a completely crushed box, I returned it and just never ordered another one. I am completely satisfied with this model, I can live with the seam and I added the antennae. GJ did a fantastic job on this one, I think the photo looks about as real as you can get in this scale. Passed on the AC, I don't believe the horiz stabs should be white as they appear to be on the AC and the GJ cost me $22.95 as opposed to the AC going for $32.99. Do the math and compare! One more thing, at that price the GJ didn't come with black coroguard.

...And It looks AWSOME With The VC-10 In The Background!
I'm With Steve...Picked Up Mine A Year & A Half Ago At A Hobby Show..The Collector Only Asked 15.00 Bukks CAD.

...Would Have Bought The Euroclassics "Knud Viking" But It Has The wrong Engines. The JT9D-70 Was Discussed For EONS In At Least 5 Or 6 Threads, Mabe More & An FYI, For The Upcoming A-300 Mould, That Engine Will Be Necessary To Cover Quite A Few PW Options On The B-2s. Not All A-300s Were GE CF-6-50s.
...And The Corrogaurd Was The Clincher That Made It A Total Deal Killer.

I have to say that I also have the GJ version since it came out. I was going to give it up for the new one but I saw the coroguard and I totally passed on them as well. I guess I'm not the only one with this coroguard issue.
What did you use for the antennae?
