As someone who has been posting on DAC and Wings almost since the beginning, I´ve seen the same issues discussed over and over with the same outcome.

The biggest problem in this hobby is the existence of manufacturers who are incapable of producing a good model and yet are successful and continue to produce more crap - and this is a perfect example of that.

So I guess it shouldnt come as any surprise that a model that looks like this gets released and that people will buy it.

What do you expect? There are more than a few collectors (myself included) who have been asking for Midway models for more than six years now and to date the manufacturers have delivered bupkis.

These models would have been perfect candidates for Gemini select models.

The model definitely passes the three-foot test and will therefore probably sell well.

Too bad as this is the airline that I want the most. Maybe someone else will step up to the plate...hint...hint.

Good, there won't be many of these floating around out there. That tail looks so narrow...

Dylan, I gave up bashing a long time ago. I am simply saying not good enough.

I support any manufacturer that makes a good model - Herpa, BlueBox, Gemini, Aeroclassics, etc.

As a huge fan of the 1970-1990 time period I feel you pain, but SMAC set the bar about three years ago, so, we should be going forwards not backwards.

PS Some of the Schabaks were done 16 years ago so go easy on me.

I deleted my post......it's moot. I wasn't joking about the schabaks. I found some of your pics on a German website about 6 or so years ago. I had never seen a schabak with a straight cheatline or a cockpit that is actually where the cockpit is supposed to be until I came across your work. The Challange Air and Evergreen DC-8's blew me away.

I'm Getting Some On The Klink Mould.
That Net Model Would be Perfect For A Lead Sinker To Go Fishing! Not Even Good Enough To Weigh Down A Net! .25c!
