Default Davesdiecast changes to St.Louis Diecast

Just wanted to let some of you know that I am changing my Business name from Davediecast to St.Louis Diecast. There are 2 Davediecast out there, and although I was the first, I only deal in Planes, where the other deals in all types of diecast. So to make it easier, I will sell under the new name, and this lets people know where I am located.

Thanks Dave
St.Louis Diecast

I have it right here, but I am about to walk out the door, and go to my Karate Class. After that my daughter ( who is also in Karate) has a Karate Tourny after that, so I won't be done for a while, but the moment I walk in, I plan on taking pics if the CSA, The Finnair A340 ( which I kinda Like)Loftleidir DC-8 and the RAF VC-10 Standard which looks kinda cool.

Congratulations on name change. Smart business move on your part. A google search brings up several Dave's connected to selling diecast models. Your new name should stand out, unless another St Louis Diecast starts up. You should get a tag line similar to the cities "Gateway to the West", like "Your Gateway to Quality Diecast Aircraft".

Default RAF VC-10 Standard

This VC-10 is neat. Is has the obvious refueling boom on it, but also if you look at the top of the fusalage, it has something that may be radar? Anyway, unlike some planes in the past, Gemini Jets added something to the plane that is really there ( I wish it would have been done on PSA L1011) anyway, they did a real nice job with this. You can barley see what I am talking about if you loo hard.

Default Finnair A340-300

I like this plane. I do not collect these personally, because Im an 80's retro junkie, but this A340 really appeals to me. I think this is a smart looking plane, and I think Gemini Jets did a good job with this mould, but you be the judge.

Did you see Science Channel's two our program on Fighting Science? It was awesome. The first hour was dedicated to the ancient arts of body to body impact comparisons. The second was weapon to body impact comparisons. They utilized a crash test dummy with sensors to measure the body and weapon impacts from experts of many fighting arts. They also used computer graphics to show the effects on the body. Tough stuff. The Ninja expert put the death blow to the dummy and killed it.

Tupolev's tagline, "Your Gateway To Quality Diecast Aircraft" is the best.

When I read the post about your new company name, I couldn't help but think of Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis. The tagline I came up with is: "The Spirit Of Diecast Aircraft".

No, I didn't see that, do you remember the name of the program? I might have to hunt that one down.

I did want something to do with Lindbergh. I was thinkinging of the spirit of St.Louis flying through the Arch, but Craig Hansen thought a Tristar over the Arch might be good, and after all this was the home of TWA, and the Tristar being a plane TWA was known for.

There is a lot of spirit here.

Hey, I've seen similar program here. It's called Fight Science and it's a two part series on National Geographic Channel. They rounded some of the best martial art experts in their own game and put sensors on them. Then have them hit a crash test dummy. The reading is then analyzed. The best bare-handed fight goes to the good old traditional boxing. The best weapon, the samurai sword. The best semi-automatic rifle from another program, the AK-47.

Waiping is correct. It is called Fight Science and it was on the National Geographic Channel. I get confused with some of these channels.

At any rate, go to Google search and type in: fight science. Click on the first National Geographic heading. When it appears on your screen, click the video preview thumbnail and turn on your speakers. Check your local listings for this awesome two hour special.
