One of the most beautiful liveries in the world become an ugly and poluted livery when they put these cartoons stickers on the belly.
Sorry but I will PASS on these Snoopy models.

Agree! I have KE747 Soccer + JAL747 Yosoko. They are really no different from original mold. However, their prices are lot more lower than the "Original" BB400. I asked my sister in HK to get them for me only HK$160 each.

I have the original BB ANA Snoopy that was released a couple of years ago. It's a beauty.

I'm completely lost however, don't know how to make or what to make of the recent supposedly BB2 realeases. They are different compared to the above mentioned, different in a worst way. The inconsistencies and all the flaws already pointed out and discussed in numerous threads. What gives????!! Oh well, garbage is garbage!!

So as of now you are right it is very much hit and miss. Collectors can do a few things, don't buy them and/or wait for Kermit or someone else to make it. The problem I have with Kermit is a really like his product, it's awesome, the mold is great, but his product line looks to me, to be just an unlicensed extension of Aeroclassics, where as the Old-Real-Big-Bord [ORBB]was complete product diversification with Aeroclassics line, it is unlikely that Kermit would ever make the JAL Disney Sea even if it had not been made already or the Red Qantas 747-400 yes he would make the America West 747if it had not been made already. Yes I know offically there is no link between Aeroclassics and Kermit but their choice of releases look very similar or follow a similar style. There is no harm in having retro stuff once in a while but IMO what made ORBB great was the special schemes others can care to differ. I hope the powers that be take this information back to Kermit. I would like to see ORBB go back to how things were. |
