I don't think this is a BB400 release, Kermit has just announced them and this ain't one of them.

These are FAKES!
The original release was limited to only 120 pieces and came with numbered cards. The Bluebox boys must be getting desperate to release this one, and then have the gaul to call it a BB400. |

Faheem, Fat A$$? Were not talking about Andrew, but this 747. The a$$ on this mesures the same as your BB747's, and actually Kermits 747's are wrong compared to the 747 the Dragon uses, which I compared against my Virgins. The Virgins, and the Dragon 747's are more alike. the Kermit 747's is less alike then thos two. I guess they both are wrong. What I mean by wrong is the under belly under the wings.

Nice to see your maturity as always Dave
Perhaps not a fat arse, but the copied BB400 mould is more 'chunky' then the real one.. at least in all the pics I've seen. And what's with the WHITE engines?? |

Actually I have study 3 747's in the past two weeks, when it comes to 1/400, and although I agree with you on the engines, and that you guys were the first to put this out, so why do it again. like the Fat alcoa. I agree with you. A couple things I have noticed. the fusalage of the plane is Identical to my "real" BigBird 747's. There is not difference between them. I even broke out the Calipers to prove my point. This plane differs from the "real" BigBird 747 in the Main wings, where it takes after the Dragon Wings 747. The two inlets by the left lower wing are there like the Dragon version. Also the Belly is not straight accross like the "Real" BigBird, but more, I don't know, Rounded? Hanging, what ever. Im not saying this is correct, but here are some pics for you to understand. If you look at the SAL pic, just below the front of , and below the wing, you can see how it curves down. The Dragon, and the Virgins are more prenounced. If someone where using this picture, then I can see where, and why this would happen. If you look at the Iran Air, it's not as noticable. This is more like your "Real" BigBird. Im not knocking any of the planes, Im just showing the differences. |

These guys must be losing money hand over fist.
All the "desired" BB models these guys have copied since they came into existence must be keeping them afloat. If you really want this model, save your money and track down the original. You won't be disappointed with that. TK

Looks Like Big Blue Is Trying To Destroy My Coveted #5!
Well I'm Sure Some Will Buy It. I'm Not Happy But Nothing I Can Do About It. That's Just The Way The Cookie Crumbles. At Least I Don't Have To Look At Those Engines & I Have The Comfort Knowing Mine Is An Official Carded One & The Fact It Was Actually Made By The Muppets Gang. |

Good Question, But If You've Been Following My Posts On Licencing Isuues, I Could't Give A Rats's Asz Over Brand Licensing. Matter Of Fact, I Think Licensing Stinks. Why Should The Public Buy A Licence. It's Like We're PAYING For Thier Advertising &Brand Recognition. I Don't Know About You But I Don't Want To Do That. Licensing Should Be Free To All Model Companies.
What I Meant was It's From An Oficcial Source With An Official Card. That's The Only Issue That Counts For Me. |

And I thought I knew it all...
Well, can someone enlighten me what exactly is a 747-121A? I'm aware of all those "747-100" and the few "747-100B" that were built, but a 747A? ![]() |
