Default dw qantas 330-300 vs gj qantas 330-200

i curerently have a gemini jets a330-200 by gemini jets , but 90% of my collection are dragon wings and with dragon releasing qantas a330-300 do you think i should sell my gemini 330-200 in favour of buying dragons 330-300 , i dont really want both because they are near identical aircraft except metal vs plastic , i also have a gemini qantas 747 but would prefer dragon 747

Thumbs down

Personally, I don't care one bit for the current DW A330 and A340 molds...the noses are terrible. The older DW A330/340 molds were great, but the current version doesn't hold a candle to Gemini's.

Not Thrue. There Was A Thread On This. Gemini's Entire Front End Is Too Wide, Lacks The Correct Contouring & Misses THE MOST IMPORTANT NOSE FEATURE ON ALL AIRBUS WIDEBODIES. The Concave "Cheeks" That DISTINGUSHES An Airbus Over All Other Aircraft.
True, DW Got The Shape A Bit Off Comparing To Thier Older Moulds, But Gemini Doesn't Even Have A Definitive Shape You Can Speak Of. It's Just A Pointed Blob. DW Cockpit Is Still Better By Far.
Though I Do Reccommend ONE Thing. Go See The Model First. They Have A Tendency To Sit Lopsided. Sometimes An Engine Might Even Touch The Ground. My SAS Primer Does That!
All in All, I Still Think DW Is Better. I'm Holding Out. I Passed On Gemini's 330-200 Which Was Released In 2004. To My Eye The Gemini Is That Bad, I'd Rather Do Without.

No But Take A Look At Any Of Your DW Airbus. 300, 330, 340. Look At The Side Of the Cockpit. You Will See What I'm Talking About. Next Look At The Model From Above. You Will See The Cockpit Indentation Even More Clearly. If You Compare To Gemini, It's LOTS Wider. Doesn't At All Look Like An Airbus.

Mate, there are enough differences between the A332 and A333 that having both is not an issue.

You might as well say that you should sell a 747-400 because a 747-300 in now available.

Keep the A333 and buy the A332, and to hell with who makes them, enjoy having the aircraft in your collection.

Firstly: Wow! Hi Jennifer Hawkins

and secondly, I've got a mixed QF Fleet of GJ, DW and even a couple Tucano's. It comes down to what you want. If you like the DW's, then don't bother getting the GJ A332. I want to continue expanding my QF fleet, so I'll be adding the DW A333, and awaiting arrival of the all metal B763 and B744ER from GJ as well as the semi plastic Yananyi from Herpa.

Not sure if asking us what you should do is the right approach. IMO, if you're mainly collecting Dragon's, I'd tell you to stick with those. Personally I don't mind between plastic or metal, or both or whatever

Default Which DW A330 and A340 are the good ones

I've seen alot of old posts and people say that some of the DW A330 and A340 moulds are better than others. So which exact models are the good ones.
