Actually, I've got it and it's quite a nice little model. The A310 makes a change from yet another B747 and displays the livery just as well.
How 'bout some PIA B737-300s in 'Gardens' liveries? Saw a couple the other night here in Muscat and they looked OK.

and hkgdave yes they is a B737 PIA in mughals tail, also in the gateway to east tail too, and also the Quetta tail. hope to see this done soon!

Thank you for the link Samee - v.interesting.
The ones I saw here a week ago were B737s AP-BCA (Gilgit -The Silk Route) and AP-BCB (Multan - City of Saints). It was dark and I was taxying past so I couldn't admire them too well!
I heard that PIA had stopped operating thier B747s to UK due to 'concerns' expressed by the Authorities and were substituting A310s and B777s instead. Is that still the case or have PIA addressed the 'concerns'?

they are refurbishing they B747's and hence changing the tails as we speak and they should be flying soon into london. the first being the PIA Kaghan livery AP-BGG which will be flying from Karachi to LHR on 22 November with the new tail colours.

below is a glimpse of it name "Kaghan Mountain Paradise"

hope to see AC do some PIA new colours also. wonder if DW will carry on doing some more PIA's? what do you think? like to see some B777-200LR !mentioned it to GJ?

i think PX will continue making some and will make the Green Turtle Waters as they emailed me and said they will continue making some more PIA's. i have sent more ideas to them.

i had a look at the website samee, future looks bright for pia in 1/400, didnt know they had so many tail colours, all pretty nice, similar tio the british airways idea of painting different tails but these tails means pia will still keep its pakistan identity because there regional colours where as british airways tried to show they were a airline for the whole world but didnt work so well loseing there british identity slightly and having to repaint them all again. i dont have too many of the same airline, i dont go for different registration or whole fleets but tempted to collect all these tails, very nice, mountain paradie in 747 looks good , i wonder if we will now get a pia every 1/2/3 months

If you are into world tails like the BA maybe it's a good time to do so considering it's still new. I wouldn't know where to start if I start with the BA tails now.
