Wait a minute! I see some grass at the end of the ramp there. That is a FOD hazard.

I'm sorry, but I am going to have to write you up for a safety violation!!!

You guys are not the only ones that are waiting, alot of others are too. What I don't understand is why alot of same liveries got made by almost every mfr., yet certain ones are still not being made. The NWA 742-Bowling shoe is indeed a prime example; lots of historical values. Another one is Air Greenland A330...man I can't have enough RED........
I think I have almost, if not all NWA models ever released, however I'd love to have "Spirit of the Northwest People" B744-Bowling shoe, which I flew on. I don't think it's been made yet right?? I love NWA scheme, but man, their services are lousy at best....and their fleet is OLD. After that flight, I understood why it was duped "Northworst"....still like the way they look though....

Spirit Of Northwest Poeple Has Been Made. I Was On A 50 Plus Model Buying Binge At The Time Catching Up On Some Hard To Find Past Releases A Collector Put On Consignment At Aviation World. The Likes Of American 727 (Both Gemini & DW) 727, DW 767-200,DW DC-10,DW MD-80: KLM 747 & Too Many Others To Name Took Precedent Over NW Poeple. My Retailer Only Had 6 (Behind The Counter) He Offered It To Me & I Passed. Big Mistake. However, I Did Get The Shanghai, Tokyo & Detroit. The SMA DC-9 Set Was A Killer.
With Gemini's New BAE-146, Hoping To Get A Few Reg's Of Those!
And Jet-X's New DC-9-15!

The Easterns I Was More Or Less Waiting To Complete The Fleet, Of Which I Now Have Done All Except For One. The Second Tristar (Original Gemini, I Got The Black Box) I Brought The Fleet Out Among Other Fleets & The Few Pics I Took Didn't Turn Out. I Was Borrowing Different Cameras Before I Got My Digital Recently. This Is Why My Pics Look Different At Times.
Pan Am I Was Afraid To Take Pics & Post Them Because I Have 24 747 Billboards.

CRAP!!!
By say "big mistake" you meant that they're all gone and hard to find now?? I've been in this hobby for a little over 3 years now...man how come I've never heard of that release...and never seen it on eBay either....and I am also a NWA fleet builder..??
Also, that store Aviation World sounds quite interesting. I guess I'll try to take a trip to Toronto one of these days and pay them a visit. BTW, do they have a website and would those special, discounted models be listed on their website Rick? Thanks man.

They've Disappeared Of The Face Of The Earth!

City Of Detrioi: 2,500 Pcs Near Sold Out
City Of Shanghai ealers Were Permitted 1 For Every 6 Detroit Ordered
City Of Tokyo: Dealers Were Permitted 1 For Every 10 Detroit Ordered
Spirit Of Northwest Poeple Unknown But Cetrtainly Fewer Numbers Than The Detroit. Came In A Special Box.

Aviation World Does Have A Website. There Are A Few Discounted Models...But Not Like At The Cap Day. Selection Is Limited On The Web.
You Will Not Find Rare & Limited Release Items On Their Website.(At Least What They Consider Rare) Even If They Have An Abundance Of Rare Models, It Won't Be Listed.
Priority To Thier 3,000 Club Members First, Then Goes To The Public. After The Scramble, Rare Models Are Sometimes Still On The Shelf.
If You Are Not A Member, They Will Not Tell You If That Model is In Stock. However If You Chance By In The Shop, You Can Buy It If You Have The Time To Rummage Through Thier Vast Inventory.

Best Opportunity To Come to Av World Is During Our Bi-Annual Airliners Collectibles Show Held On The First Sunday Of April & October.

Does anyone have a picture of this model and I am assuming it is not to be confused with the Alliance Spirit that was done twice? Also Brinkley doesn't have it listed I checked the Model Database too.

Can you clarify?

thanks!!

I'm glad to see this one being produced. I totally agree that we need more Bowling Shoes! Especially an 8-door 752, A319 and A320. I know Dragon did the A320 (and A319??) in the Bowling Shoe and Herpa did the A319 in the current colors, but Gemini's baby bus is soooooo much better, and needs to be produced in both this livery and the new livery.

The 319 & 20 Were Crap. Not Woth Buying. DW Needs To Re-Make Them On Thier Updated Moulds. I Got The Gemini 752 & 753, But Wish Dw Would Make Them. I Don't Like Gemini's Nose Section Or Cockpit.
