Just to clarify FACT from fiction, there is no truth to AC stopping production of models, or even getting 'booted' from any factory.
In fact Andrew is unroute to the said factory now.
As Todd mentioned, many of the "20 new moulds" will be making their appearance early next year.. the Super VC-10 is already out, and the DC-9 has made an appearance as well.
Expect one the mould to also be released before years end

Agh!!! I teach Middle School. Does that absolve me of my mistake?

Todd, What is the truth. You say you know it, but you don't want to tell us. Are you saying that Kermit is not dealing with the same factory as BlueBox? Are you saying that Kermit has nothing to do with the as you put it"New BigBird"? Are you saying that Kermit did NOT over see this Oasis 744? What part is it that Im full of? I got my info from a credable source, someone who I trust.

Not that I do not trust you, but your forum seems to Lean towards someones favor, so I do question peoples motives to apeaze certain people. I know that Im not the only one that has noticed this, it's been mentioned several times. Just my observation.

Is anyone going to place any stock and or give credit to someone who has posted but 8 times? Come on! If AC went out of business, and that will not happen, for any reason it would be caused by retailers. Big debt.

Get real. Both of the proprietors of AC and IF are two of the most solvent and honest people in the business. Two pretty smart fellows, I might add, and very capable businessmen. We be the collectors, lads, they be the businessmen. Let them do what they do and let us do what we do and in the end all is right with the world.

Maybe for two reasons. He is in China doing his business or because he is laughing so hard that he has not had the ability to type a response.

I'm curious to know, why do you think the internal business dealings of any privately owned company (whether Aeroclassics, BigBIrd, Dragon, Herpa, etc) is any of your business or the public's business?

Plus, you (and apparently your credible source) don't even know who Kermit is!

Hey, bottom line, buy what you want and enjoy the hobby, hell, go buy all the BluNutz you want, I personally could care less.

That last sentence...that's funny. And some genius Chinese worker made Green Box, Pan Am Models and others... I didn't know "grey areas" were honest...or would that be ethical... whatever, that's a good laugh before I go to bed.

Ah yes, maybe there should be a new manufacturer called "Grey Box" or "Grey Area Models". I'm having a good laugh too!

It's a two sided street. I guess its OK when Andrew, or anybody on your forum says that BlueBox are criminals, and or that they pratice unethical business Practices, or even the fact that you guys give the names of those behind Bluebox, and state that they are crooks. I guess this is ethical business practices, and was first brought up by Andrew, and 400scale hanger, who constantly brings this up on your forum.

Again, I have nothing against any of the Companies, but you have to level the field. You can not make accusations, without backing them up, and since I dare ask question, I get deleted (Like Andrew here) and the thread gets locked.SO, I brought it here, where I know it is truly FAIR AND BALANCED.

I personally have nothing against your forum, and I enjoy it as much as I enjoy this one, Im just pissed that you deleted my posting. It was like you had something to hide, or you didn't want the truth out.Thats just How I felt.

Retailers Debt? You have some type of charge account with AK? I wish. I have to pay everything upfront.

Most people who are on these forums know that the factory in China is on strike, and Aeroclassics is not going anywhere. I can see where someone would get that idea though, with only 3 releases, and one being the same plane with different registration, Some people may think that they are going under, But they are not. Aeroclassics should be back in full force very soon, at least this is what I got from ADI. They felt 2 to 3 months.

It was never proven to me who makes any models other than GJ, AC, and IF. As for the rest as far as I am concerned they are ghosts. Someone would have to have verifiable proof that other than GJ products that the owners of GJ produced anything else. Same with AC or IF. When I do not know something for sure I do not speculate to fill the void. No one was ever guilty by speculation in any court of law that I know of.

Rumor is rumor. Someone who has posted but 8 times heard from an unnamed source that something was going on. A no name person makes an unverifiable statement and the credibility of all of this on a scale of 1 to 10 is a what? Zero. At least "Deep Throat" had Bob Woodward.

Yes, we will always expose the crooks of the hobby, period!

We have never posted any information about the legit companies (Dragon, Gemini, Herpa, etc) just the crooks like BluNutz!

Your post was just the same old same old that has been posted here and 400sh over and over and responded to over and over, I'm not going to rehash the same old same old every week, do a search on either forum and read!

The thread was locked as it served no purpose.....

Now go play with your models, isn't that what this hobby is about?

I wish to. No, by choice, I pay as I go. I do not want to own anyone anything. I was giving an example of how a company, such as AC, can ruin by debt owed from the retail side of it. I see it happening in the construction industry time and again. What do you suppose happens to all of those fuel companies, food caterers, and so forth when a Northwest Airlines files for bankruptcy? Some creditor does not get millions of dollars that was owed to them. And maybe as a result their once solvent business is no more.

I did not know about a strike in China. I somehow manage to focus on what it is that I do. Which is; I buy nice models, I sell models to nice people, I collect some of those nice models. Three things is all I have to do and I very much enjoy that. I could care less if a factory is having labor problems. They will figure it out. If AC is not making models at the moment someone else is. I will buy their nice models, sell their nice models, and collect their nice models. Just three things. That's all I do. That's all I care about.

No kidding!? I best get onto the phone tomorrow and get a piece of that action. Seems the ADI guys have slighted me. I was just on the phone with them today and not one of those shoeless boys asked me if I wanted to buy any, to say it in the words of Nick himself, "Cheap azz" goods. Man, I am pissed.

No, no, and no

Kermit is one of the factory's owners, he didn't "run away" and he sure as heck did not start producing models with BBX..
