Default You've Now Managed To Wake The Sleeping Giant

Alright people, you've now managed to piss off the sleeping giant. There are some members that need to learn to respect that this is an international forum. We have users from all corners of the world which means not everyone's first language is English. There are some people around here that are starting to offend others by the tone of your posts, and it won't be tolerated. I'm not going to name, names but I have my eye on you and IF you continue to post in such as manner it's going to be the fast way out the door and I don't care if that person have two posts to their name or two thousand. I am HIGHLY OFFENDED when there are collectors out there that are willing to take pictures of models that are good, bad, or indifferent, then feel INSULTED by some of the members here who can't keep their mouth shut without dragging such photographer through the mud of the pathetic politics this hobby brings. If you can't play nice, then don't play at all because I've got my eye on you and the zap button is only a click away. I'm not going to mention names BUT if you THINK it might be you then maybe you should reflect on what you've been posting on the forums. Good day gentlemen.

Thank you very much for this encouraging clarification!

I'd like to post more often than I did so far. The reason? I have to do it in English. But this is okay since this is an international forum.

My English is almost completely based on instinct. It's hard to "create" a message in a foreign language you should have learned at school about 30 years ago. Well, I wasn't smart enough to realize that it was important to learn this language at that time.

Don't worry about it. Your English is better than half of the english-speaking participants on this forum.

Since we all have such a love for collecting these toys, why do we have such hatred towards each other when their idea isn't the same as your own? This hatred towards each other is going to ruin this hobby. Lets just hope that those who want to spread their opinions will be banned from submitting further input.

Rudi, your English is far better than my German, and I spent 5 years in Memmingen and Ramstein back in the 70s and 90s. I've forgotten most of it, except for bits and pieces, mainly because my German friends insisted on speaking English so I didn't really get to practice much. Eh, I don't live in Germany now, so das ist wurst...

Sounds perfect to me. I wouldn't be self conscious at all, like Ken B said, many of those born, raised and educated here in the U.S. speak deplorable english. So post more, we need imput from around the world. By the way, I love your country and it's people. Great place, Deutschland!

Memmingen wasn't all the best place to learn the language as they hardly speak German there.

I agree, there is enough hatred for nothing out there today and we don't need it in here. I have also recently got out of my other hobby in R/C because almost everyone in that industry just cannot learn to respect others in almost every way and almost everything is completely ego driven.

Anyway, I always say this to everyone, if everyone just nice to each other then this world would not be the way it is today. No doubt life's a lot of stressful than say 50 years ago but toys are also much better than 50 years ago so let's just all take it easy and enjoy this hobby! ;-)
