I have just been sent this picture. I thought I better share it with you all.
This is the next release from "them", this time I have been told they have made changes to the tail. Available soon from your favorite BBX retailer. Last edited by MS@SFO; 07-25-2006 at 08:20 PM. |

Nice retro livery! It is good to know they listen to the collectors and make the necessary improvement in the product. Nice additional to my collection.

You're right, I will always say that it sucks, as I'm not into knock-offs and pirated goods. Even their name "Blue Box" is pirated from a reputable Hong Kong Toy manufacturer. Shame on them, and shame on those who support them!

What is the connection between DA.C and Blue Nuts? And why is Andrew allowed to criticize them and are my posts deleted???

Perhaps they should put "Please note that we are not related nor affiliated to blah blah blah" for example.

Well this will be yet another Bleaux-Box L-10 that makes it to the collection. I have to say the level of anger at witch Andrew directs at Blu-Box is illuminating. He is definitely releasing way too much product, and if someone comes on the scene with a mould that could sell, it makes it all the more difficult for him to sell his wares. He says he sells out of all his releases but my guess is that he gets quite a few dealers telling him to ease up on his production run. What I find truly disgusting and hypocritical is the fact that He complains about Blue-box mould accuracy when Aeroclassics line up is not without some real dogs, the DC-6b and the 727-200 is the worst that this hobby has to put up with!

One ironic thing though, is that I've never agreed with anything posted in BUZZland until now; they too didn't have anything good to say about Blue Nuts! (forgot the phrase they used, but I must admit it not only was true, but quite funny too!) (one positive rep to BUZZ!! )Seems Blue Nuts biggest mouthpiece is some coward posting under STAR ALLIANCE. Having read his/her recent post, I can definitely detect a lack of intelligence, but an accute hostility. ![]()

Why do some of these seem to have a tail seam and some don't?

If you want to buy their crap, it's up to you; it's your money, and your collection. Amazing though, with all the negative comments our admittedly mediocre DC-6 & 727-200 receive, they still sell out, every time!! Further, I'm amazed the same 5 or 6 people keep on harping about the one or two so-called bad moulds we have, but say nothing about the other 24 good moulds we do have. Their jealousy, and the hatred towards me that it spews, is quite obvious! Carry On!

I work for this company and I love that scheme. But I will pass it and wait for the day another company releases this mould on a Tristar mould.
BBx should follow BB and go! And before they do, they should melt that mould and burry what is left of it!

everyone needs to start somewhere and time is needed to improve, Aeroclassics is a perfect example, they found something no one was making, at first the models were.....not exactly the best but as time went on thye improved the molds and look how nicely done the models are.
give bluebox a break, they are taking suggestions and the fixed errors, give them some time and the models should improve |
