I don't mind waiting! They can take as much time as they need to get a perfect mould! No need for rushing it out of the factory!

Just as we expected.. I had reported in February that Dragon Wings was very quiet when I asked them about a BAE-146 mould at the 2005 Nuremburg Toy Fair...they told me they "could not comment and 'new moulds will be coming out'"...

This thread never seems to die. The demand was pretty high we all want the Bae 146. I just glad to hear they are on the way.

They are doing both the -200 and -300 in both scales (1:400 & 1:200)

This is all old news...that is, if you're on the Buzz.

=)

Finally, a BAe-146!! I am sure we can expect AirCal and PSA releases.

Now this is what I call good news!!!

I'd still like to see the US launch customer in that 1/400 146 - Air Wisconsin.

I know that is a very boutique-ish release, really only known in the midwest and part of the East Coast. Aspen as well would probably have a very regional appeal. ASA operated them in Delta connection colors too.

But, we'll probably receive PSA and maybe Air Cal (haven't seen one of those in a while). Nothing wrong with that!

In the end, just to have one of these in the collection I might settle for other schemes.

The even better news in that photo? The Jet America in the background! Sweet!!!!

As The BAE Has An Option Of Either 5 Abreast Or A Tight Squeeze Six Abreast, It Looks To Be Almost Right On To Me. The DC/MD Was Never Six Abreast.I'm Guessing The Real Deal Is Probably 1 Foot Wider Than The DC Product. Lenght Wise Looks OK Too. About Just Under The Length Of A 732.
Remember The -200 Has 85 Seats, The -300 Has 100. More Than The DC-9-15 & ALMOST As Much As The DC-9-32/ 732 (115s)

I Also Thing The Model Will Look Smaller When A Livery Is Applied...

Take The Military 707/ KC135) For Instance The Dark Green Or Grey Versions Appear Wider Because Of The Monochromatic Color...

Default Re the 111

I'm not sure who made it. It was originally in Gulf Air colors, I believe. I bought it at the Airliners Int'l Convention in PHX about 5 years ago and had a friend repaint it to complete my ZW collection.
