Default China Airlines 747 Dreamliner

Hi, I want to purchase a 1:400 scale China Airlines 747-400 in the Dreamliner livery. I have found the Dragon Wings version online for US$49.99 at Airshop (Taiwan I think). Can't get many diecast aircraft down here in New Zealand so reliant on overseas suppliers. Is that a reasonable price? Does anyone know of any US suppliers of this model as I can't find any. Also, I see Phoenix also do it - which is the better: DW or Phoenix? Can't find a price for Phoenix anyway.

The "Dreamliner" livery is Boeing's corporate colors for their planes. I don't think China Airlines would use Boeing's corporate livery to brand their planes.

Will I hope Boeing gave China Airlines a discount for the free advertising.

And Ryanair and Air Berlin...

This is Boeing's way of promoting it's new house livery. Whichever way they do it, you can be sure there's some kind of financial incentive available to the airlines concerned.

Incidentally, I have the Phoenix version and I like it a lot. The usual Phoenix 744 mould concerns aside of course.

I think there was a Korean plane with the Dreamliner livery too.

Might want to check that... A Korean Air 737-900 was painted up in the Dreamliner scheme for a short while for the Farnborough Airshow. It was also delivered like that, and stayed in the dreamliner c/s for a short time while in service.
