I don't like the plastic look of the rudder.

And the cockpit windows are just a tad too small - the windowline is not straight but slightly inclined toward the front. Otherwise a nice model.

What the Faq.? what did they smoked? Dude, my Herpa - older sas B736 in new cs (purchased a year ago) looks twice better than that example..
The aft fuselage looks too big, tail doesnt look right either, wing is too thick, compared to mine, my example is thinner like it should be like the real 736 ng. now the nose is waaaaaay off. damn.. I'll pass over this one .. Next.! |

Editor's Note: The photo you see is of the 1:500 model which is also used in this batch. Herpa does not have a 1:400 sample produced and used the 1:500 model to illustrate. This is very common for Herpa to use photoshop and/or incorrect scales in new release annoucements. It is recommended to wait until the actual model is released before making pre-orders and final judgement.

Considering the great releases of the 737 mould by Herpa lately, we might be looking at another great aircraft (Olympic 737-400, CSA 737-500).. Just wait! SOme people are soooo pro Gemini jets that everything Herpa makes in 1:400 and doesn't wear an American Livery is bad even before you see it.
Besides: when will Gemini finally start working on a normal retailer-network in Europe! |

That's very true. Herpa's occasional blunders and their constant fight with window sizes and shapes should not distract from the fact that they have released a number of excellent 1:400 models lately: e.g. the A 318, A 340-500 and -600. If their A 380 models had not these huge spectators cockpit windows and correct window-ones we would have a decent 380.
I bought Herpa's Air Europa 737-400 and their DBA 737-300 and I was quite happy with the quality. So let's wait for the real 737-600, to my knowledge the first of this type in 1:400. |
