I will probably get this one, since GJ has not put it out. I have one Net model and it is fair to ok.

I agree..

This (and the DHL) look nothing short of hideous..

Now before you bash me for being Andrews assistant, I will admit, some of the Bluebox offerings (Tristars) look good to me..

But Netmodels?? They have yet to make a model I can look at, without getting nauseous!

I'm quite surpised that the folks who loved to bash Tucano (and their DC-9) have gone into hiding, because this is the exact same mould.. The GJ mould was retooled, but this one sucks. To recap.. the DHL's color is WAY off, the TWA's cockpit looks like a joke.. Not to mention they both sit sky-high on 1/400 stilts.

On top of that, they have discoglitter on the wings (which AC has gotten rid of)..

I'm sure a better manufacturer will bless us with both of these, given sometime.. With so much on the market, I'd buy something else and wait for a better DC-9.

Above The Cockpit The Nose Looks Like A Batters Helmet.
Does Anyone Realize This Is A Poor Copy Of The Tucrappo?
Even The Tucrappo Was Never This Bad.
I Got 3 Tucrappo.

Nobody else has commented that the tail logo is way off? It should reach way further up, and the flag should be just under the stab.

Also, the ENTIRE WINDOW LINE is printed way too aft. Compare locations of the exit doors, titles, R1 door, etc to the real thing. The titles are in th right spot, but the windows and doors are like 4 windows too far aft. See how the overwing exit arrows don't align with the doors at all? The overwing exit arrows are in the right spot, but the overwing exit doors are off.

Or--go look at the right side of a real DC-9. The R1 door is right behind the cockpit---not the big gap like this model.

I don't know why GJ did not make this one when they made the TWA final colors. At least the mould was decent.
