Default New Photos:DW AIRBUS A380 F-WWOW 25/9 updated!

To add few more pictures taken with no flash. The shape of the model is really nice and the logos are cute (When you look at them far away).

The first A380 model of the real aircraft with register no. The printing of model itself is quite detail. Glad that I didn't get the Airbus corporate version. However, the cockpit still looks bad. Enjoy the photos!

The cockpit is a real mess. They simply copy that from the A330/A340 mould. Otherwise it would look perfect. Shame on you DW!

Something interesting. The Thai Airways logo on the model is the old version and airbus had put the new design on the real F-WWOW now. Can this be the reason for the second version of this model? ....................NO!

Thumbs down

I won't buy any DW A380 as long as they have these cockpit windows.

How could they mess up the face?

Same for me: I'd really want this but with these cockpit windows, no thanks! BTW Dragon Wings also messed up the passenger window line on this version. If I see DW's and Herpa's efforts with the 380 so far, it seems to be some kind of a challenge for the producers - almost none of their 380 releases is right. Sole exception is Herpa's AF A380 but this is a fantasy bird.

Pass for its plastic wings, inaccurate airlines logo, awful cockpit.

It would cost HK$380,900 for an A380-900

Surprisingly, the latest A380 mould from Herpa is far better than DW. The all metal AF is really heavy. The cockpit is more accurate. The landing gear is as nice as their A345 mould. However the pylons are too plain and the little 'winglets' attached to the engines are not included. Anyway I wish Herpa would release this F-WWOW soon.

What exactly is wrong with the window line?
Could be I missed something, but to me it looks as spot on as it could be.

The Herpa AF380 had it messed up (too high), but this is common sight on Herpas...
IMO, Herpa's entire mould isn't really spot on for an A380.
Would DW finally manage to go for all-metal (not that I do care much about, but others do), work on their gears and retool the pylons, they'd have a sure winner. Well, IMO they already have one compared to Herpa.

Edit: Forgot... To have a winner, they for sure should stop to mess with their cockpits
