I For One Am Not Surprised.
People Are Revelling At This Mould Just Because There Is A SLIGHT Improvement Over The Prevoius Gemini.
Well If You Ask Me, The Absence Of Excellence Doesn't Make It A Good Model Just Because There's Nothing Else Out There.

Mark My Words, BBX Will Go On E-Bay At Common Herpa Prices.
Buy At Your Own Risk. I'm Regretting My ANA Purchases.

I'm Not Running Scared Because There's Something New On The Market, Niether Is Aeroclassics Or Big Bird. Believe Me They Are Finacnially Sound.

See your just like AK! Complain about ever little detail....yep and your right it's your money your choice your everything I guess!

My Friend, I Am Not Interested In Turning This In To A Flame War.

My Complaints Are Valid. I've Spent Over $17,000 Dollars On My Hobby.
I Am Extremely Passionate About It. As I'm Very Passionate About Aviation
For That Kind Of Money I DEMAND The Absolute Absolute Best Quality.
Bad Cockpit Windows & Sewing Thimbles For Engines, Coupled With Paint Bleed/Smudging & A Wedding Ring For An Intake Scoop That Couldn't Fit My Baby Finger Just Doesn't Cut It For Me.

There Are Those Out The Who Just Shrug Everthing Off Like It's Just 30 Bucks.
I Wonder If They Are Hobbyists At All? Or Just Dabble on A Reasonable Facsimile And Say "Look At The Nice Color" From A Distance.

There Are Many Models That Have Printed Words That Cannot Be Read With The Naked Eye. Other Details, Cockpits, & Fuselage Shapes Can Be VERY Accurate.
I'm One Of Those Collectors Who Often View My Models With A Loupe
See Those Details.
It Instantly Takes Me To The Airport, Either Spotting For Hours, Or Walking On The Tarmac Boarding The Plane. But I Guess There's Something Wrong With Enjoying The Hobby In That Manner.
I've Been Chastised For That, As Others Have Said These Models Are Not Meant To Be Viewed In That Manner. Well, I Don't Buy In To That As Then Why Are These Details There? Why Would The Manufacturers Not Save Money & Not Even Bother?

I'm Not Brand Loyal, As I Don't Collect Brands, I Collect Quality.
Earlier Dragon & Gemini Didn't Cut It For Me.
Nor Does Herpa.
2001 Onwards DW Have Been Fabulous(Exceot ****ty Retro), Gemini Has Made Many Improvements With The Elimination Of The Seam,
Gen II Areoclassics Are Mostly Excellent.
Big Bird, Despite The Recent Mistakes Have a Big Place In My Collection,
SMA/Sovereign Are Wonderful Treasures, I Even Have A Few Tucrappo That I'm Very Happy With.
In Comes Poorly Copied **** Box & Blue Nuts Models.
The Filled In Seam Is Only A Marginal Improvement. Not Enough.
They Were More EXPENSIVEVE Than Big Bird. What A Rip Off.

I Would Think That Poeople Would WANT A Better Product. Talking About The Mistakes Could Get Them Fixed. No One Wants To Do That. They Just Gleefully Buy It And (With Arms Flailing) Say "Yipee"
Then They Chastise The Naysayers Who Just Want A Little Solidarity To Get A Better Product.
I'm Not oppesed To A New Manufacturer, As I Pointed Out, Sovereign/SMA & Once Both Big Bird & Aeroclassics Were New Mystery Manufacturers To Me.
I'm Opposed To The High Priced Junk They Are Making.

I have a lot of clues. Many of them tell me you sound like Bozo the Clown. Don't be mad. you are the one that sounds like a jerk with an agenda all the time. Just calling it like it is. Obviously you can't stand the heat. What was it that you handle all the time?

No, this is NOT a case of "hell bent bashing." What he is saying here is that if your preference is BigBird, which is mine, hold off buying these models. Nothing more, nothing less. You DRAMA queens make more of it than it needs to be.

One more teensey fact. These factories all tend to find out who is doing what and in an ever tighter market, try to get their models out faster than the competition. If these are coming from BigBird I can assure you they did not wait for the BlueBox version to be announced to decide to "copy" them. They have been in the planning for some time.

Carry on!
