Hello:
Near Chicago, from what I understand. I'll be there for a few days. Any ideas for a retail shop to visit? Thanks ![]() |

There is Grayland Station-5514 W Devon in Chicago and Past Time Hobbies- 9311 Ogden Ave in Brookfield. Both stores have a great selection and great prices.
From Schaumburg, both stores are around 22 miles one way. Hope this helps Tom. |

If you go to Past Time Hobbies, be sure to look past the planes and see what else is "hidden" in the store. Last time I was there, a couple years ago, I walked out with more diecast fire engines than airliners!

Thanks for the heads up. I did visit Chicago and I did make a visit to both of these stores. It was nice meeting Bill of Past Time Hobbies and Steve at Grayland Station. Yes, both stores had very nice selections. I was like a kid in a candy store, as there are no such stores in the Detroit area with the extensive deicast model selection like I saw
there. People in this area are very fortunate to have such stores, just to be able to see models firsthand. I see just about everything via the net.Last edited by DINO; 09-07-2005 at 06:23 PM. |
