When will this version be out by DW? Dragonwings seem to be very slow with 1/400 airliner models...

Yes. the sample is just a picture. And don't forget picture is always different from the final product. Remember the round nose on the A330 and the sharp nose of the B777?
Also, we really don't know when could we see the real thing. I ordered the China Airlines B747-400 Dreamliner model from Airshop for 3 months already, credit card was charged but then I don't even see a sample model coming out.
