So the purple is really metallic like the real bird? Would be nice to add to the other Star Alliance partners who have new schemes. Austrian, BMI, TAP, VARIG, UNITED.

does the nose look a little too rounded for an a340?

it looks nice, however.

Dragon's noses (and more particularly cockpits) have been really messed on Airbus planes as of late.

I skipped at least 3 or 4 A330/A340 models from them because of this.

On this particular model though, the cockpit windows seem pretty accurate.

And I am VERY surprised that DW got the purple paint correct. Looks good to me.

Cool I'm excited about mine too!

Ordered it also. I'm conerned about the purple color though. It's much flatter on the ones I've seen in real life. I hope they get it right. I'm not sure if I like it better than the previous scheme which was one of my favorites.

it seems to me that the aircraft is a GJ's A345 mould

Indeed.

I looked over this picture really closely, and I agree. The nose gear is a giveaway (looks like their A343/346 one) same goes for the wingroot.

I was under the impression that Gemini doesn't give-out or make too many samples any more

What gives?

We don't...pretty much you have to either have to have the "in" with someone at Gemini or you have to know someone at the airline to get a sample. I myself only have 7...only one of those has yet to be released. I DO have my eye on a couple new ones though

Take a closer look at the nose gear. This mould is very 'Gemini'. Where did you guys order it?

It's Gemini. I preordered it at Bangkok, well it's just for member to preorder. I believe it will be avialable soon.

Nice to see GJ working on this model. I was really tempted to order the DW version with the french interim reg, but now that I see GJ is working on this one as well, I'll wait a bit longer. But Zach, do me a favour and do one of the final thai reg. numbers.

I don't know too where the guy at the shop got this sample from but I order from his shop. He said that at first it will come in normal Gemini box but later it will also be available in Thai Coperate box, and the 744 will come later after this 345 release but don't know when.
