Exclamation Model shops in Sydney

I will be going to Sydney in July and was wondering whether anyone could tell me where I could get 1:400 aircraft models by Dragon, Gemini, Herpa, etc.

Default Hobby shops in Sydney

There is a hobby shop called "Hobbyco" located in the central business
district of Sydney, adjacent to Centrepoint tower. They have quite a large
range of mainly 1:400 Dragon wings, Gemini jets and Herpa wings. They
seem to have more gemini than the other two brands in this scale. They also have a huge range of 1:500 (if you like this scale) & a smaller selection of 1:200 Herpa wings and a handfull of Star Jets. Their prices are really quite good.

There is also a hobby shop at the International terminal which I think is called "Terminal Fun". I don't know exactly what brands they have.

That's correct. Their selection is minute, though. The last time I was there there were only about fifteen Gemini Jets, a few Dragons and Herpa. Certainly nothing that you would not find at Hobbyco.

Hobbyco, by the way is on the second level of the Mid-City Centre which is off the main shopping Mall at Pitt Street. Find the entrance of the HMV store and go two floors up. The Centre Point Tower is across the other side of the mall.

They have a website with online shopping at

http://www.hobbyco.com.au/

Thanks! I saw their inventory list, and they carry quite a lot of Qantas stuff - a MUST BUY for me, since I missed out on all the Qantas stuff at my local retailer.

I was in Sydney last week for work and stopped by both HobbyCo (twice) and Terminal Fun. As was mentioned by vanzaanten, there is not much at Terminal Fun. HobbyCo had A LOT of different models. I only bought a DW Qantas 747-400 as a souvenir of my trip down under. I should of had a bigger suitcase to bring more home.

Response so far have been spot on:
Another shop is out in the western suburbs - Parramatta. Bergs Hobbies is on the mall on Church st and they sell GJ and DW. Have a medium selection - also have pre-loved DW's etc which you might find a few rarer items. Also sell 1:200 snap fits and a few other airliners. They have a 1:100 Ansett 737 Travel Agent style model there as well which is quite rare.

Terminal Fun is Ok but are way over priced. Have a small selection and have Herpa 1:200's for really high prices.

Tom's Discount in West Ryde have a few Herpa Lord of the Rings models there but they are priced quite high in comparison to Hobbyco.

Hobbyco is the way to go.
