Lightbulb HERPA Continental B767-400ER

Hi! Does anybody have this model yet? Care to share a few pics? What's your opinion on this 1:400 model from Herpa? I'm still waiting for my retailer to ship in the models. Gosh! It's March already and they are not here yet!

I Strongly Suggest You Get The Dragon Version. The Cockpit Windows Are 1200 Percent better. And No Transparent Wings & Stabs.

You know, I don't get it how do you bash a model before it is released.
First of all, this is an all new mould and all new moulds as of late from Herpa have been all metal, and fully seamless to boot. Second of all I don't think you or any other average collector has seen the cockpit windows so you couldn't judge whether it was incorrect because you haven't even seen the model in person yet. You have offically reached a new high, bashing a model before it's even released.

Standard Herpa, so you must mean standard Herpa by like their Singapore A345 which is all metal, fully seamless and blows nearly all of the competition away, or almost as good Iberia A346...or do you mean Qatar A300, Lufthansa A346, gotcha... I love how people generalize models....

Cockpit placement on the Herpa isn't too bad from ACBs photos would be nice if they had a slightly larger shot that wasn't 500 pixels wide, the nose gear is a hellava lot better then Dragon's model.

I love how people just go out and bash Herpa for no good reason, while they continue to make fully seamless models, that can blow us all away like the Singapore A345....continue on in ignorance....

P.S. You sure it's got plastic wings?

Don't know of the Pic L-1011-Heavy refers to but from the Pics I've seen Can't Tell If It's Plastic...

From A Herpa Showcase at a certain Distributor, this Doesn't Look Like Anything Standard...Pictures Don't Always Do Justice!!

Having just checked the website of the dealer I ordered from, it now says 'available' where it used to say 'pre-order' just the other day.

So hopefully I'll have mine in a few days ?

Ok... I have just received mine minutes ago, at first impression I can honestly say this is the best Herpa I've ever owned. (Ok it's only my 2nd )

Yes it's ALL METAL! no plastic wings or tail, everything looks printed properly and at the correct heights etc. The cockpit looks good and the colours/tones look correct as well. Reg is N76054, I've photographed this one several times at GLA, so I'm used to seeing it for real.

This is one happy collector.

Pictures to follow.

Hmmmm.... NICE! Thanks for the pics man! Really needed them!

Now that is one cool model! (I love the shape of the 767-400 when seen from below!)

Next step for Herpa: Add more details eg. pitot, landing lights, engine markings ...

Anyway, it's still a terrific new mould, and I'm happy!!! =)

This new Herpa looks impressive. If there is any weakness with this release; it would have to be the engine pylons. Tney look semi-transparent.

Herpa quality in 1:400, IMO has taken a definite turn for the better.

Yes they are slightly translucent as are the undercarriage doors (same material). To be honest you'd never really know unless you shone a great big light source through them?

Having had the model a couple of days now, I'm still delighted with it, although I think the 'Continental' graphic is perhaps a little too thick a typeface? Only marginally though, and it's still better than the DW version which is missing the 'ETOPS' print on the nose wheel doors.
