Wink Announcement

Okay all your weirdos and psychos now here this:

I don't know how many others of you have done this, but I have officially gone to the "dark side" and begun to collect the 1:72 Dragon War Birds (sepcifically P-51 Mustangs, the worlds finest fighter ever built). I tried to resist the temptation as long as I could but after getting a couple of real good deals on E-Bay I have to admit I am hooked. These aircraft surpass anything I have seen so far.

As further testament, I even started buying a few of the armored tanks they do and have to say without a doubt that they are outstanding as well.

All I can say is that whatever you do, do NOT buy any of these gems as you will only be dragged further into debt. Go INTO THE LIGHT!

That is all, carry on.

Jim, don´t worry, they are too large for me to display... unfortunately.

But I did get drawn to the dark gray side by these inflight200s, along with certain 1/200 Herpas...

Happy new year, and enjoy your warbirds!

Todd,That 727 is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I wish they would come out with one of those in a PSA 727

Inflight did do a Limited Production Alaska "Seahawk One" in the 200.They are very hard to find and were priced at about $200.00 when released.

Hell,I would take that in
Continental w/ a meatball
Western Airlines
Hughes Airwest
Alaska Airlines
Not in any order...

I think that out of all the planes out there the 727 seems to be one of the most popular of its time, and one of my favorite. One noisy S.O.B. when preparring to land though.

Most of the diecast aircraft I collect now are military models, not only Dragon but also Corgi, FM/Armour, Marushin, Gaincorp etc., the quality of these models is fantastic and they offer great value for money. For me the best diecast aircraft model ever made is a Corgi, their 1/32 Mosquito is a awesome model. Military models have even kick started my 1/400 buying to get the E3,E6,E8,KC135, C130,C5 etc. releases we're seeing,

Cool

Hi Collectors!

It is the same for me: I started collecting 400er about two years ago, only civilian planes. But since DW started their 72er military stuff, I also changed to the "dark side". I own now:

Corgi Tornado (Gulf War '91 & '03)
DW F-16 Misawa, F-18 Golden Dragons, F-15E Seymor Jonson
SunStar F-117

And the tanks are also nice and a must to have. I have only the Abrams in Iraq scheme, but I will buy more! They are a nice addition to the 72er Jets!

Happy new year and happy collecting!!!
Michael
